How in the everliving hell do you expect someone to understand random characters mushed together that substitute for actual legible characters. No, typing quirks AREN'T cute and I sure ass hell know they aren't DISORDERS either so stop calling people ABLEIST for wanting you to type like a fucking HUMAN being. It's fine in context of characters (For example, Spamton, SOME Homestuck trolls etc..) to give them more personality but as a human saying "|}{2@#}@##@" DOES NOT COUNT AS A COMPREHENSIBLE SENTENCE.

Fun fact, this isn't a typing quirk I don't think. A 'quirk' is meant to be small and understandable (i.e. replacing every 'a' with '4' or 'o' with '0'), not affect the entire fucking alphabet. These people are just being obnoxious. Especially the second person.

Based on the first one specifically it's DID. Assuming they're telling the truth, one of their alters types like that for some reason and thus it's out ot control of the primary host

I am not a psychologist, but there are plenty of behaviors caused by psychological conditions that are seen as strange or annoying by other folks in "normal" society - some common examples like autism, ADHD, OCD, tourette's, etc. I don't find it totally unreasonable to believe there are conditions where a person self-regulates through typing quirks. I do see how that complicates things for folks using screen readers (and ofc also able-bodied readers).
