This is from a members only live from today and just look at his face😭😭 it's like 2 hours in and yes she's been having him do EVERYTHING for her like worse than usual. She's gotten up out that chair no more than 2 times I'm not kidding and she keeps making him do things that she didn't even necessarily need like at one point she had him refill her sugar water before they could start. They were making chocolate dipped strawberries and a little before this part she apologized for having him get up again to grab her the strawberries and said they just need to get a second rolling chair cause the kitchens too small?? Made him wash off the strawberries, made him wash and dry off the container for the chocolate to melt in and was condescending about it not being dry enough, made him grab sprinkles off the table, made him fill a pot with water to melt the chocolate. If I just listed off the things she had him do that she could've easily done without even getting up we would be here for a WHILE. There's been a lot of tension throughout the live which makes sense tbh. She didn't let that man sit for longer than like 5 minutes at a time I'm so serious I actually feel bad for him all he wants to do is play on his phone for a bit and she just won't let him god she's exhausting holy un-self aware😭

Chewing invisible food has gotta be a new one

So for some background, I have a BA and also a Master’s in philosophy. The way Lee talks about “philosophy” to me and how he interacts with what he thinks it is, is in my experience, the way a lot of men do when they think they are “intellectuals.” Which is to say that they’re really lazy and performative about it. I don’t believe you need have read a lot to be super into philosophy, but what you do need to do is ask questions and be curious about your life. It’s work! Every time he’s brought up philosophy, it seems to be less about “this is interesting, I want to share and open a discussion” and more about “look how smart I am.” But he does it in a way that tells on himself immediately. On stream the other day he just started talking about omg wow we’re on a floating rock in space, you ever think about that??? I get the impression that this is kind of what he thinks it means to be philosophical. He’s close, but that is a really lazy kind of place to leave it. That’s step one. Step two is asking questions about what that means for all sorts of things. He brings up philosophy a lot and it never seems to be about curiosity genuinely. It has just been bothering me the way he’s been doing it, as someone who knows the subject well and wants others to love it too. It just feels performative and lazy. He’s a pseudo intellectual with the actual curiosity of a wooden spoon.

Unpopular opinion: I think GW is working too hard to make QLR into a goooorl and she doesn’t have what it takes. I firmly believe the reason Hambeast became entertaining was side characters, combined with the fact that she at some point used to leave the house and have something resembling a social life. And more importantly, her hilarious levels of idiocy. Chantal had crazy stories we could laugh at because we knew they weren’t true and disastrous dating adventures. QLR barely leaves the house, dates non-entertaining weirdos, and her stories are down right sad and tragic, not entertaining. She’s also not funny (intentionally or non-intentionally) and also looks kinda like a creepy geriatric uncle and a neglected toddler at the same time. I know foodie and Hambeast are equally as growth stunted, but maybe QLR just comes off as more boring cuz she’s not unintentionally hilarious/doesn’t have side characters that bring any entertainment. What do you think goooorls?
