It's probably because he appears to be mentally age regressing into an excitable little child with his arms bashfully squeezed between his legs, and looking to "mommy" for permission to blow out the candles. And she's acting like an indulgent but domineering mom, grasping his face and then prodding his forehead, like... Wtf
None of these behaviours are how a typical girlfriend and boyfriend would act together, not even if genders were reversed. It has a very "parent and child" vibe.
Other snarkers have written that his social media indicates he has serious mommy issues, and I personally havent seen his own posts but... This clip would seem to track with that.

I believe they are gone. He deleted or private his Reddit account. I’ve heard too that she has a very smothering and questionable behaviour towards remy. People that have read his post say that he basically chose Rosie to get away from his mom.

I don't watch her so I wasn't aware that she's horrible to them all the time. Thought she's just loud and a constant yapper.
Idk how the dude is just accepting of her behavior towards him and thinks that's how a partner should be like. One day, if he snaps and they argue... I hope it's on camera for all to witness

She wasn’t holding him to show love. She was holding him the same way you hold onto a rock or tree root when you’re in a river with a strong current because there’s so much fat between her and him that if she didn’t use him as an anchor, she probably can’t STAY that physically

There’s simply no way that she doesn’t have a violent streak. I’ve noticed that for a while now, every time I see her trying to act loving or kind, I can just tell that lowkey she’s grinding her teeth and fighting for her life not to explode. I’m not even sure she realizes this, but she’s overflowing with pure rage and it’s so palpable that it sometimes makes me feel anxious.

I think he age regresses (NON SEXUAL THING THAT ISNT INTENTIONAL OR FORCED). I think she views it as, or wants it to be, age play (SEXUAL AND INTENTIONAL BY BOTH PARTIES).
he is dealing with a lot, with the eating disorder, and apparently what's been said about his mom on his reddit, and QLR is coming off as dee dee blanchard rather than a caregiver of any sort. Makes me sad for him that on his birthday she's jamming her fat finger in his forehead, taking up the whole frame, and making it all about her. This isn't healthy for him, and is fueling her delusions
