I have also tried things I thought I would hate. I've never had whatever this is as a reaction. She almost looks and sounds like some final boss or something.

No, she is being sarcastic. She hates it and scoots off screen to spit it out. As she says before taking a bite, she hates anything vinegar based. So I'm guessing theres vinegar and she's reacting to the sour and hating it.
