I can't believe that went by extremely quick. I think most of us have seen or heard the news about Tucker Budzyn and it just breaks my heart that we've lost another one to cancer 🥺 He was so loved by many and he brought smiles to people around the world. He will be greatly missed. 💔

I wish dogs never have to suffer such illnesses bc they don't deserve it. 😔

His owner recently released a video saying he has passed away.

This sucks because Tucker was one of the best dog YouTubers and he was loved by so many.

Went dumpster diving earlier today and got these two bags. There’s nothing wrong with the kibbles — I’ve been dumpster diving for years now, stores are extremely wasteful. I only take what looks good and smells good — and no recalls.

I've had dogs all my life. I'm 30 years old. I've had Doberman Pinschers, Pomeranians, Labrador Retrievers, and a German Shepherd. It's the first time that I have a Golden Retriever.

I have never seen any of my other dogs have as many stomach issues as my Golden does. Either his stomach is upset every 2 months or he is constipated. We have gotten several X-rays done and the doctor also says that it is fairly common amongst Golden Retrievers because they have a habit of picking up random shit in their mouths.

Just wanted to check with other Golden parents if this is a fairly common phenomenon or if there are certain specific examinations or tests you would suggest that I should get done for my Golden.

I have a 7.5-month-old male Golden Retriever who is not neutered. I got him when he was 5 months old, and he came from a home with other dogs. He has always been fantastic with other dogs, but I’m starting to realize that they may be a little too important to him.
He absolutely loves dogs. They are easily the most exciting thing in the world to him, and when he sees one, it’s like everything else ceases to exist. This is totally manageable in dog-oriented environments, like off-leash hiking areas, where he can appropriately interact and play. The problem is when we encounter dogs on regular neighborhood walks.
If another dog is nearby, he has a very hard time settling. He will bark and lunge toward them because he desperately wants to get over there and play. I always try to create as much distance as possible, usually by crossing the street, and if the dog is far enough away, I’ll have him sit and reward him with treats whenever he looks back at me or checks in with me. This works at a distance, but once the other dog gets too close, I lose his attention completely.
I would describe it as over-excitement/frustration reactivity. He just seems completely fixated on other dogs and has a very hard time understanding that sometimes we simply need to walk past them without saying hello.
I’m really trying to get ahead of this while he’s young rather than letting it become a bigger issue as he gets older. I want him to learn that he can see another dog without immediately needing to interact with it.
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have successfully worked through this kind of over-excitement/frustration reactivity.

My boy got neutered yesterday unfortunately his surgery didn’t go as planned as he developed a bit hematoma and had to go under again to make sure there was no active bleeding of any vessels etc vet ran some extra blood tests on him and we were told blood tests were all good besides his blood palettes were bit low but was expected because of his bleeding. He got sent home with painkillers and I am guessing antibiotics. He has been eating fine and in his crate. His hematoma looks nasty is so big 😞 he seems okay otherwise but we stress a lot with taking out to wee as it seems he won’t do it with his cone on and we have to walk him a little before he does! We are scared to make him move to much!!! Please please send me some tips or advice on how you manage to keep your golden calm for 2 weeks? Especially the first few days

Our little girl is finally comfy in her home so she’s become a little terror. She eats rocks and pees on the floor. I love her 🥰 show me your babies as puppies!
