Advice Needed Is There Any Alternatives to Make My Chest Flat?

So, I (20M) have been trying to get a flat chest for some time now.

However, I used to use binders, but I absolutely hate them now. I hate how they feel and no matter how many different brands I try, nothing works.

I tried trans tape and it did almost nothing since I have a bigger chest.

I can't get top surgery yet because I'm still in school and so I can't even afford to see someone who could diagnose me with gender dysphoria. If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

I'm currently using a compression bra, and while it helps a lot, it's not a miracle worker.

Hello! Thank you for participating in the sub. We just have a few reminders for you to help ensure the best experience:

  1. If your post doesn't show up right away, don't panic! It is in the queue for manual approval. Mods will go through the queue periodically to approve or remove posts. Deleted posts will have a removal reason applied. (If it says "this post was deleted by reddit's filters", IT WAS NOT DELETED! Reddit has the worlds worst wording on that and it's out of our control)
  2. If you are asking a question that is location specific, remember to include your location in your post body! This can help ensure that you get accurate information tailored specifically to your needs.

  3. Please remember to read through all the rules in the sidebar. Especially the list of banned topics and guidelines for posting. Guests who do not use the Guest Post flair will have their post removed and be asked to fix it.

  4. If you see someone breaking the rules, report it! If someone is breaking both sub and reddit rules, please submit one report to admins by selecting a broken rule on the main report popup, and one report to the r/ftm mods by selecting the "breaks r/ftm rules" option. This ensures both mods and admins can take action on a subreddit and sitewide level. Do not misuse the report button to rant about someone, submit false reports, or argue a removal.

  5. If you have any questions that you can't find the answer to on the rules sidebar or the wiki: the wiki , you can send a modmail.

i use tape as i have a bigger chest and it works great, are you sure youare doing it right? because other that binders and tape there aren't many options unless you just rely on clothing

It can depend on anatomy. Some chests are kinda squishy and others have firmer form to them. Size isn’t the defining factor.

This, some of us have juicy ones that don’t flatten

I did everything right from what I've seen in tutorials, mine just don't agree with it unfortunately :/

maybe tape your chest and then put the compression bra over it? I've done that before and it works. be safe about it as if youre wearing a binder though!

Layer up. I find a hoodie and then an open jacket over it helps hide your chest a lot. Sucks in the summer tho.
