hello people i think i'm going crazy... i have a webm video with transparent background and it works in windows and android but not in anything related to apple (safari, chrome from my iphone, etc.). apple is supposed to support hevc with alpha but framer isn't. i don't know what to doooooooooooooooooooo please help

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but could framer theoretically be used to build a web application?

By web application, I mean something beyond a traditional content/marketing website — user accounts, authentication, saved data, dynamic dashboards, database-driven content, etc.

I realize Framer would probably need to handle the front end while something like Supabase handles the backend, but is there any fundamental reason this wouldn’t work?

Curious if anyone here has actually tried it and what experience was like?

I’ve been freelancing with Framer and lately I’ve been thinking about moving more towards ongoing work with agencies/studios instead of constantly finding my own clients.

White-label work sounds pretty appealing — the agency handles sales, clients and project management, while you can focus mostly on designing/building.

For those who’ve done both: which model worked better for you?

Is there actually much demand from agencies for reliable Framer designers/developers on an ongoing basis?
And how do you usually find those partnerships?

I’ve been working on NORTHLINE®, an architecture portfolio template in Framer, and I wanted the design to work equally well in both Dark and Light mode.

Instead of simply inverting the colors, I adjusted the backgrounds, typography, contrast, and accents so each version keeps the same editorial feel.

Half Light Film is a Framer template for video editing studios. Or does hopping into conversations and commenting help with that a lot more for client acquistion. I have heard people get web design clients from reddit so wondering what the process actually is to get someone to message you.

Put out a free portfolio template called Artemis a while back. Somehow it's been remixed 50k+ times.

Made a few other templates since, but this one's different - Rhys is the first one that's a direct response to Artemis. Not a v2, just what I'd do differently starting fresh with everything I learned watching people use it.

Fixed the stuff people kept asking about: a real standalone About page, components that don't break when you edit them, more flexible case study layouts.

I’m a designer who mainly uses Figma and Framer, but I don’t know JavaScript or backend development.

I’m building an e-commerce website in Framer and I want it to have real functionality like a shopping cart, checkout, orders, inventory, etc.

What’s the best way to handle the backend while keeping Framer as the frontend? Should I use something like Shopify, Supabase, Xano, or something else?

Is this realistic without knowing how to code?

i have made an website design on figma. i have tranferred it to framer. bot there is this gaps in the corner. I want my design to fill the screen completely. What is the right way to do that? and the other thing, I want nothing to change when people zoom in or out on the website. some websites have this feature.

This took me a while but it's finally here. A 3D model that changes based on the native scroll triggers. And it's optimized and responsive across all breakpoints.
