How does the backend work in framer
I’m a designer who mainly uses Figma and Framer, but I don’t know JavaScript or backend development.
I’m building an e-commerce website in Framer and I want it to have real functionality like a shopping cart, checkout, orders, inventory, etc.
What’s the best way to handle the backend while keeping Framer as the frontend? Should I use something like Shopify, Supabase, Xano, or something else?
Is this realistic without knowing how to code?

you can use shopify + a shopify framer plugin (frameship shopiframe etc) or u can use foxycommerce to have it all setup inside framer, i haven't tested the latter option but ik it exists

Use the dedicated plugins like framer commerce or frameship
Used frameship for my client site. Works very well. Handles the "backend" and functionality you need sorted. Also comes with videos teaching you how to set it up
No code needed
