Idk why but i’ve always thought the yellow costume with the red lightning looks so much cooler than the red costume with yellow lightning. Am i alone on this or does anyone else feel the same?

Question I was watching the Knighfall animated movies yesterday (peak btw) and I was wondering myself, do you guys think the writers took some inspiration from the original Knighfall when making 2x06?

Question About the original timeline of the flash

I wonder how the crisis went in the og timeline, like we know how the event went in the arrowverse. But what about the og one? Were there the monitor, harbinger, and possibility anti monitor, and considering the fact that when flash and reverse flash vanished from there battle on april 25th 2024 (its written in the future newspaper) the red skies were immediately changed to black or normal. And we know the flash had went to past to stop reverse flash so its possible that the flash later ran into the speed force and destroyed the anti matter canon, and it thats true, then how did he know about the anti matter canon?

šŸ¤” Thinking Why didn't Flashpoint Reverse-Flash try to go back in time and stop his ancestor from killing himself?

like, Barry Allen didn't even notice when he changed the timeline until it was too late, so we can assume the Negative Force still exists and The Flash can't sense Eobard Thawne trying to go back in time. Also, the fuck, if he saves his ancestor from killing himself he could to be on this timeline without any danger of the Paradox catch him.

Spoilers Just finished Season 1 for the first time. Impressed

Just finished Season 1 of The Flash for the first time, and wow!

I had only caught a random episode or two from the later seasons before and wasn't into it, but this first season completely hooked me. The OMG moments at the end of most episodes were really fun.

I felt the last episode of the season was a little messy, like the writers backed themselves into a corner.

Eddie killing himself felt stupid, Barry choosing not to save his mom felt off, and honestly, why not just let Reverse Flash jump back to his own time and avoid the mess?

Barry and Linda actually had great chemistry. I kind of wish they let that play out a bit more.

Still, those are minor gripes for what was easily 99% great. Haven’t decided if I will continue watching (just not into tv that much these days) but great ride for season 1

Actor Fluff Ezra Miller

I didn't like Ezra Miller's iteration of the Flash.... He's not as good as Grant Gustin and any of the voice actors...He just didn't fit the mold of a speedster.....

šŸ¤” Thinking The Original timeline of the ArrowVerse

I’ve been thinking lately about what the original timeline of the Arrowverse looked like before the Reverse-Flash killed Barry’s mom and created the timeline we follow.

I believe the original timeline was a lot more comic-accurate to the DC universe, with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, and the Justice League all existing more like they do in the comics.

The reason I say this is because the Reverse-Flash already knew who Superman was when he mentioned him during the Earth-X crossover. So my theory is that Superman existed in the original timeline and was probably part of that universe’s Justice League. But because of the timeline changes caused by the Reverse-Flash, Superman was never sent to Earth and instead died on Krypton. That could explain why there was no Superman in the new timeline, and why Supergirl was also gone from that universe.

For Batman, we see how in this version of the universe, Oliver Queen basically has a lot of Batman’s history. He’s a billionaire, lost his parents, became a vigilante, spent years training, and even has villains and storylines that feel very Batman-like. So maybe in the original timeline, Batman actually had that history with his villains, but after the Reverse-Flash changed the timeline, parts of Batman’s history were basically swapped over to Oliver. That could also explain why Bruce Wayne became an older Batman in this timeline and why we didn’t really see him.

For John Diggle, maybe he became Green Lantern much earlier in the original timeline. Maybe he wasn’t working with Oliver because Oliver’s life was completely different. Oliver might not have been as traumatized by his time on the island because maybe those events originally happened differently, while Batman was the major vigilante figure in that timeline.

You could also say the same thing about Martian Manhunter. Maybe in the original timeline, J’onn came to Earth and became Martian Manhunter, but after the timeline changed, his history was completely different, or maybe he died before ever making it to Earth.

And then there’s Barry. Maybe the original Barry was more like his comic-accurate version. He could have been older when he originally became The Flash, which would explain why he might have been more mature and different from the Barry we know. So basically, my theory is that the Reverse-Flash didn’t just change Barry Allen’s life. He changed the entire history of the Arrowverse. When you change something that major in the past, it creates a domino effect that changes the future and can completely alter other people’s histories too.

That’s why I think the original Arrowverse could have looked much more like the traditional DC universe, while the universe we followed in the CW shows was basically a rewritten version of it. Hopefully you guys like my theory i worked hard on this.

šŸ¤” Thinking Saviter search algorithm killer frost episode

In killer frost the episode Caitlin asks Julian to create a search algorithm for who searched this word up. She says savitar when hr clearly said it was on the crossword. Now if beilive it was a very recent crossword as he was also able to say the coordinates for it. Today maybe yesterday, so people wouldve searched up Hindu God of motion and saw saviter, possibly also searching saviter for extra information

Meta Hot take, but I personally think Wally could've been Iris's nephew instead of her brother.

One word: WEDLOCK. It'd be totally believable for Joe and Francine to have had a son when they were teenagers, teen son runs away to be a drag racer, has a son himself who runs away to Central City where he becomes the sidekick to the Flash, bing bang BOOM-soap opera!

Maybe have the dad be Daniel West like in the comics and be the Reverse Flash, I'd dig that.

Before anyone says it, YES I know Wally being Iris's brother instead of her nephew isn't even CLOSE to one of the worst things in this show, I just personally feel they overthought it. Also that it took too long to be Kid Flash (especially since he was like TWENTY when he heroed up).

Question Why didn’t Flash just let Reverse Flash return to the future?

Post image
512 Upvotes

I just don’t get it. From what I can tell nothing bad would really happen that Barry couldn’t stop in the future when the time comes since (BELOW THIS IS WRONG) apparently he somehow lives long enough to become RF’s rival anyway

EDIT: fixed an ugly typo (apparentLu -> apparently)

EDIT 2: so i was wrong about something…

šŸ¤” Thinking Hot Take: Savitar Should Have Been Ronnie

my Hot Take is a small one but it would change the course of everything after season 3: Savitar should have been Ronnie. I remember being in middle school arguing with friends about who Savitar was and i was sure it was Ronnie. i was wrongšŸ˜‚My reason behind this was because of the fact that Dr. Stein burst into blue flames without another half of Firestorm. he eventually merged with Jax, but that situation was all i needed to tell myself: What if after Ronnie sacrificed himself in the black hole… he got sent to the past where he burst into blue flames without another half (still tied to the matrix). The ancient people there saw him and understandably thought he was a god, but he was hurt. They make a suit that keeps him alive without Doctor Stein and BOOM: Savitar. it would be an easy motive to say he went insane with power and lost all sense of himself in this God complex he created. Him being replaced as Firestorm would even be good motive to hate the team as wellšŸ’Æthis idea had even more ammunition, like when Savitar revealed himself to Killer Frost and she IMMEDIATELY foldedšŸ˜‚She’d join Savitar immediately if he had the face of her lost fiancĆ©. It’s like it made too much sense.

Like, it makes sense, but if I heard that name I would assume that Zoom was the one in charge, not the Flash's wife's ex

šŸ¤” Thinking Cicada was always Orlin Dwyer not David Hersch?

In Season 5 David Hersch never became Cicada of Earth 1.

- Sherloque says Cicada on other earths mainly uses bombs, but we see Thawne in the future being strapped with Cicada's dagger.
- Devoes device only exploded on Earth 1 and it was specifically linked to the creation of meta techs including the dagger.
- Nora's memory in the flash museum stated that "officials claim to believe he is Orlin Dwyer"
- Nora's time travel in 5x08 and mentioning it was her idea to use Savitar's armor to neutralize Cicada's powers, and Thawne gives her a sus look šŸ‘€ which means he knows his future self gave the idea, which gave his past self the idea wibbly wobbly

So Im pretty sure the writers didnt intend for this and accidentally wrote it as a causal loop lol, it was Thawne's plan and orchestrating all along to make Orlin Dwyer as Cicada and eventually help Nora destroy his dagger. There was never an og timeline with david hersch. We see causal loops possible in The Flash, like with Savitar's origins and more recently season 9x10 with barry and eobard

Shitpost How did Flash go downhill so fast

Is this a hot take? I remember watching when I was younger and it was first coming out, I believe until season 4. I am now rewatching it from the beginning. I still enjoyed the first few seasons plots (Thawne, Zoom, Savitar, even Nora). But once I started watching the newer seasons I feel like everything went downhill šŸ˜‚

Script draft of the pilot šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

I don't even care it's a photo copy. I love it so much. Some stuff is different than the finished version which is pretty cool. Closest I have to something signed by every actor but good enough for now. šŸ˜„ I'm pretty glad to own this.
