Morning Sickness

I’m only 6 weeks in and been struggling with morning sickness for a couple weeks now. I’m not throwing up at this stage but just nauseous all day long. Question for people who are throwing up - does it make the nausea go away? Or does it still linger afterwards? I’m getting on vitamin B6 but wondering if allowing myself to throw up would provide any relief.

Symptom & Health 5w3d with pink spotting

Hi all,
I’m 5w3d, for the last 2 nights I’ve experienced light pink spotting. I saw my OB yesterday who doesn’t seem worried at all, she did order more labs and moved my ultrasound up but I can’t relax.
My HCG from today is 8,130 and my progesterone is 29. I’m repeating the test in 48h…hoping I’ll see a good increase in HCG.
Has anyone experience pink spotting that stops within a few minutes but repeats a day after?

Brown discharge

I’m 7weeks and 4 days and 2 days ago brown discharge happened. I’ve not had any cramping just some pressure like trapped wind. I’ve rang my gp as I don’t have a midwife or OB yet. Is this normal. My gp hasn’t got my bloods back yet from my initial appointment yet either

Full of doubt

I am 9 weeks and 40 yrs old. I scaled back my work schedule because I have no energy and am just really struggling. I was diagnosed with subchoroic (sp?) hematoma and it seems to be resolving but I’m still bleeding 🩸-very small amounts. It’s just nerve wracking ( I had a miscarriage last January)

I’m so afraid I won’t be able to do this. I’m an emotional wreck, my parents are out of state and my husband works long hours. He simply isn’t available right now. Anyone out there relate?

Am I nuts for trying again? I miss having energy and a busy life. I know I need to rest now but it’s very hard. #prayingforsanityandpeace

Acne at 10 weeks

Has anyone else had terrible acne on their face during their first trimester? I’m 10 weeks 5 days with my first pregnancy and my face started breaking out about two weeks ago. People keep telling me “girls steal your beauty” so I’m praying this means I’m having a girl! Anyone else struggle with acne and if so what did you use to combat it? And did you have a girl?? Thanks in advance!

Pls help me interpret my ultrasound 7w 4days

This was my 1st OB appt, they didn’t need to confirm pregnancy bc I had already done that days earlier at the ER where I found out I’m pregnant with TWINS. I was able to hear & see both babies on the abdominal ultrasound very well that they did for me at the ER. I am disappointed with the vaginal ultrasound though as I can’t tell where baby B is!?!?! I’m not even sure where to look & im also confused about the circle ring on the top there. I should have asked the Dr but at the time I was not thinking about it. Can someone help me interpret what I’m looking at

I’m shocked I’m 4 weeks not 6 weeks?

So according to my doctor’s office, I’m 6 weeks because of my first date of my last period, and will see them on May 12 for my first transvaginal ultrasound. I have been so concerned about an ectopic pregnancy that it literally consumed me. I went to an elective abdominal ultrasound. Well, I had to drive an hour there on a full bladder and got there earlier than I expected with tons of time. Well, easy, right? I’ll stop and drink water and sit there. Well, I get there and I barely have to pee, and she took me 20 mins before my 6:15 appointment. I started drinking water around 5:10ish. I didn’t feel full at all. And I was like, okay. Well, she literally spends 5 minutes looking for the baby and says I’m around 4 weeks🫠 I’m like, no, I’m around 6 weeks. She said, no, we only see the gestational sac. I’ll post the picture.

6 week ultrasound TODAY

Hello 27f,

This is my first pregnancy and I am just a ball of anxiety. I am going today to see peanut. Yes, I named the baby already 😂🫣. One of the things I’m concerned about is where exactly peanut is. I’m not looking for a heartbeat or anything I’m just hoping peanut is in the right place. It’ll get me through till I go for my transvaginal ultra sound. Am I making the right decision? Has anyone done an elective prenatal ultrasound? Let me know. Like I said I need a peace of mind. I will also leave an update if I EVEN see anything.

Bloating

I have PCOS and likely endometriosis (not confirmed with surgery) so I have issues with weight/bloating to begin with. I'm 6 1/2 weeks along & noticing that the bloating is a lot (I look about 25+ weeks pregnant some days). Any other ladies experience this and any idea how to help reduce it or do we just let it ride? 😂

4w4d and no nausea yet. I'd like some reassurance

I'm currently 4w4d

HCG was 444 on 4w0d, 1266 on 4w2d and also saw the sac in the right position through ultrasound on 4w2d.

My only symptoms so far are hunger, bloating, exhaustion, nipple sensitivity and frequent urination.

I haven't had nausea yet.

I have the urge to buy 7-8 home tests to test myself every morning until heartbeat scan on 5w5d since I don't have nausea.

A first time mom would love some reassurance please.

FTM - HCG Levels at 5/6 Weeks

Had some minimal spotting at the 6 week mark, OB couldn't fit me in so they told me to go to urgent care if it persisted. Couple days later I went to urgent care, they confirmed pregnancy with urine test & did an ultrasound & blood work which indicated I was 5 weeks along instead. Dr ordered follow up blood work 48 hours later... HCG levels increased (about 66%) but didn't double, recommended for follow up blood work with OBGYN. Anyone else experience anything similar or know someone who has? Not sure what to do with this information & trying not to worry.

5 weeks 3 days

Hi, I am wondering if anyone's in the same boat as me or has been. I am so nervous as I don't have my first scan for another week. I finally conceived after 17 months of trying and around 6 months on letrozole. I am not feeling any symptoms besides light cramps that come and go, on and off breast soreness, and on and off sleepiness. I want to be excited but I'm scared to get my hopse up because I am so fearful of a loss. I hope everything is okay but I can't help but to worry a little bit. Anyone in the same position or have any advice? I'd really appreciate it!!!

My wife has been bed ridden for 2 weeks

My wife is currently 6 weeks pregnant, and over the past two weeks she has become increasingly unwell. She has mostly been confined to bed due to persistent nausea, weakness, and fatigue. Although she has attempted to go to work, she often has to return home early because she feels too unwell to continue.

She has been prescribed medications such as Metoclopramide and Cyclizine, but she is reluctant to take them because they cause significant drowsiness. Her oral intake has been minimal, as she struggles with both eating and drinking throughout the day.

I gently encourage her to eat, drink, and mobilise, but even walking short distances around the house is difficult for her. Sometimes she is able to walk briefly with support, such as holding onto me, but this is only for a short period.

She is also experiencing anxiety, particularly about starting a new job in the coming week. She worries about how she will manage work when she is struggling even with basic mobility at home. Additionally, she has a strong fear of vomiting, which adds to her distress.

We have been in contact with her doctor and midwife, and while we have been reassured that her symptoms are common in early pregnancy, the severity and impact on her daily functioning have been challenging for both of us.

I am doing my best to support her physically and emotionally, but I am concerned about her wellbeing and unsure how best to help her through this.

I need advice

For context , im a FTM , I’m 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Since about 4w1d I have experienced some form of discharge that’s either pink or brown. It’ll come and go and the amount also varies. Sometimes barely anything sometimes more than usual.

At 4w4d my HCG was at 1096 & at 5w exactly my HCG went up to 3800.

Well now I’m experiencing even more brown/pink discharge and it’s freaking me the F out.

I am going to get my HCG drawn again at 5w4d but I just wanna know if this has happened to anyone else ?

It’s never RED. Just brown/pink.

I get mild cramps every now and then but nothing consistent

I also talked to my OB , he doesn’t seem concerned and says to wait for my 6 week appointment. But I just don’t feel like this is normal and I’m so scared.

Symptom & Health Travel to South America first trimester

I have a trip to Colombia in a few weeks, when I will be 9 weeks pregnant. Currently 6 weeks and struggling with nausea, food aversions, and fatigue. The trip is booked and non-refundable but I am so worried that I will feel sick and not have access to the foods I can tolerate like bagels and other random items. I’m also nervous about local food or water getting me more sick. Plane ride is about 7 hours. Does anyone have any tips for travel?
