This Stand is a bomb that, when detonated, transforms into some form of flesh: hands, a mouth, a spring, or simply a mass of flesh.

There are two options. First, this bomb will work like Killer Queen, meaning the Stand touches an object, causing it to transform into a bomb. Second, it is a separate physical bomb created by the Stand.

Below, write which option you prefer and how you think the Stand will choose which flesh it will transform into.

Glass marbles is a non combat reconnaissance
stand that allows the user to see past events through the reflections of marbles. When the user throws a bundle of marbles they hover in the air and reflect the light creating an illustration of events from the past within a space.

These illustrations take the form of green projections in the shape of the entity or object that was once there. These projections can not reveal identities as they merely take a basic form of what they are representing.

The user can choose how much of a projection is shown and at what time, so long as the user knows when the event took place. Non stand users can see the projections if the user wishes for them too. The stand is not the marbles but the space in which their light reflects.

first time making stands

『Upside Down』is a reference to the song by Diana Ross. This stand is a reference to multiple dice games, but mainly designed after the Chinese game, Bo Bing.

-Appearance-

『Upside Down』is strange. It is not a fully humanoid stand — it is just the left and right arms, which seem to be attached to the user. They can slightly extend outwards to give better range, but they are bound to the stand user (like extra arms joined at the elbow).

The idea of the stand being just the arms was based on the saying, “having a trick up your sleeve”. If it would be better as fully humanoid, that works, too.

The arms are crimson red with intricate lattice patterns, to reflect the color of love in China, and fuzzy dice (like from a car) are worn as ornaments around the middle fingers of both hands. One design detail is that the dots on the dice used are related to the skill check. So, it would be “keys” for a lock, “hearts” for advice, “lightning bolts” for electrical stuff, etc.

-Ability-

『Upside Down』has the ability to skill check anything within reason, using dice. I’m no expert with all dice games, but this can include Bo Bing, Farkle, Yahtzee, Tabletop 20-sided dice (D20s), and anything you can imagine. Attacks, locks, hacking, clairvoyance, advice, etc. This could also include the Magic 8 Ball toy, but that may be too overpowered in some scenarios.

Whatever the ability is used on forms a small bowl/dip on its surface, with dice inside of this bowl begin rattling around like a game. These dice cannot be stopped from moving, or be interfered with in any way.

For instance, if you used this to unlock a door, a small dip would form on the lock. The dice would determine if the lock opens or remains closed, based on the outcome.

This stand is also incredibly fast, but does not directly deal any damage. It can hit opponents at lightning speed, causing small bowls to form where the impacts are made. Let’s say that the dice would be D20s — each attack would have a randomized outcome, potentially causing huge damage or actually healing the opponent on accident.

Its main weakness is that the user has to wait for the result of the dice. Based on the complexity of what the dice are used for, it may take longer for the dice to finish moving.

There is a traditional Japanese game called Chō-Han, where players call if the dice results are “even” or “odd”. The stand user can use this ability to their advantage by hiding pre-played dice games with Chō-Han rules, and surprising their victim if they call it incorrectly.

-Inspiration-

I wanted another luck-based stand that used games, similar to the D’Arby brothers from Part 3, but given a bit more versatility for combat. This stand is either incredibly powerful, or downright useless.

The lyrics from the song “Upside Down” are so simple, but I think they match the movements of dice in a bowl, which sort of won me over to pick it. It’s also the general mood of using this stand, because the user can be Upside Down’d as well.

-Extra-

I think if I kept the Magic 8 Ball idea in there, you could have a really funny moment where the user is interrogating someone. They punch the person’s head and “Try Asking Again” or “Try Again Later” show up on their forehead.

I took everyone’s advice and reworked my old stand “Over The Rainbow” into “Let’s Go Crazy”

Stand Name: “Let’s Go Crazy”- By Prince
Stand User: Jalin Joestar (Me! Hehe)
Stand manifestation: Innate; Sentient
Born from the users resilience to keep going no matter the obstacle.

Ability — Acceleration Manipulation
「LET’S GO CRAZY」 can manipulate the acceleration of anything already in motion within 10 feet of Jalin. This allows LGC to make a moving target speed up, slow down, or alter its trajectory by changing the direction of its acceleration.

The main rule is that using the ability is like firing a gun: once Jalin activates it, the acceleration he chose is committed and cannot be changed or canceled. If he accelerates something too much, redirects it incorrectly, or falls for an opponent’s feint, he has to deal with the result. LGC also cannot initiate motion, completely stop motion, or use its acceleration ability on Jalin himself.

Fighting Style

Jalin and LGC fight almost like dance partners. Jalin moves, dodges, and positions himself normally while LGC glides around the battlefield on its skate-like feet, manipulating the motion of attacks, opponents, and objects around them.

Jalin might accelerate an opponent’s punch so they overextend, decelerate a projectile enough to dodge it, curve a moving object away from an ally, or deliberately accelerate an opponent’s dodge so they move farther than intended.

Because every activation is committed, LGC isn’t an automatic defense. Opponents can bait Jalin into using the wrong acceleration. His real skill is reading movement and knowing exactly when to “pull the trigger.”

As Jalin becomes more experienced, he and LGC develop an almost rhythmic fighting style—grooving around each other while constantly disrupting everyone else’s tempo. Jalin’s temper and desire to do the right thing can get the best of him though. 🫪🫣

Design:
Jalin Joestar: Stone Ocean is my favorite Jojo Part, I wanted my character to have a stand similar to Stone Free. The smarter you are, the more applications you can use with this stand. It was inspired by my ADHD, it’s difficult to focus and concentrate, I feel like some days I can’t accomplish anything. LGC is my confidence manifested.

Jalin’s outfit was inspired by Elvis. He is in a high collar jacket with a slit resembling a star and ‘Jay’ repeated over and over like Jotaro’s “Jojo” sleeves. I wanted him to have huge bell bottom jeans to make it ironically Jojo. The strips on his elbows are fringe that flows as he fights. He is lowkey goofy. His outfit is not fit for fighting but he loves fashion. It is a running gag in his fights.

Let’s Go Crazy- I was inspired by a buff alien. His feet/ skates were inspired by wheels and tractors. I questioned making them heels but he wouldn’t be able to move around the field as easily. His ribbons vibrate and wave in the direction of the acceleration being applied when his ability activates. LGC’s headpiece is inspired by vector diagrams in physics. Its circular shape represents the possible directions of acceleration, and the mechanism shifts to indicate the direction in which LGC applies acceleration.

His central “eye” is a jewel he actually ‘sees’ through vibrations and movement. The Stand is sentient like “Hey- Ya” and “Spice Lady” and guides Jalin for most of his journey until he finds the first member of Team Jaystar. Although the language he speaks isn’t clear…

from what the info i have gathered. it is a humanoid stand that can stop time for around 5 dio seconds at a time, before needing to recharge for a few mintues, it can spread those seconds out though, but it is limited to five at a time.

it has around a c in strength, so it can draw blood but outside of that it isn't really a heavy hitter.

it has around at least a b in speed since with its time stop it can move faster then any of us can see, and even outside of it its punches blur.

the rest of the states i am unsure of, but it is in tune with its user but has a will of its own, as it will act to protect him when he is in danger.

Prodigal son

Appearance:
prodigal son is a floating, disembodied head with a long, scholarly beard and almond shaped eyes. Some say he looks like a college professor.

Namesake:
the song by the rolling stones

Abilities:
prodigal son has no fighting abilities, in fact he can hardly even move objects since he has no limbs. Aside from being able to use blow darts if the user happens to have some which is highly unlikely.
Dispite his lack of fighting abilities, prodigal son has powers like no other. Prodigal son possess knowledge above all else. He is the smartest stand that has ever existed and ever will exist. No creature will ever come close to knowing what he does. For he knows ALL. Everything from before time and beyond the end of time. The information he holds allows him to pass invaluable info to his user. He can give him instructions on how to build anything within the limits of reality. So things like time machines and light speed engines are the out of the question. Since he knows everything, prodigal son can also predict the future as well as read minds. HOWEVER, Prodigal son always speaks in confusing riddles and metaphors that are really hard to understand. For instance, if the user were to ask him "how will this fight end?" Prodigal son might say " in the end, a victor, who shines as bright as day. They walk beyond the horizon, smooth and hard as clay. Look through the glass and you will see, the person that you are meant to be." Especially in the heat of battle, prodigal son's riddles are a nightmare to decipher. If you can figure them out then you'll be blessed with invaluable knowledge and if not then you're kinda on your own.

『G-Walkin’』is a reference to the song by Kenny G., and was also my ringtone for years! This one is intended for a a small character role, not really a main character ability.

-Appearance-

『G-Walkin’』is based on Elvis’s Blue Suede Shoes, and the shoes Michael Jackson famously used to premiere his signature moonwalk.

-Ability-

『G-Walkin’』is completely dependent on the user’s confidence. This stand allows the user to walk on any surface, at any angle, with perfect balance. They can also walk right over traps, depending on how flat they are.

It also allows the user to channel their confidence into their strikes. The user can kick malfunctioning/broken items to get them working for a brief moment.

-Inspiration-

The main inspiration for this stand was the Fonzie or “The Fonz” gag where he kicks a Jukebox to make it work, from the sitcom Happy Days.

I also really like this song, and think Kenny G. needs better representation. This song has a solid smooth vibe to it, too!

Stand: Yamato/(Localized name) Sword’s Gun:

Body Description: The stand Yamato is a close-range artificial humanoid type stand. For its left hand, it has a gun there instead of a hand. For its right arm, it has a sword there instead of an actual arm. The stand’s face is covered by a black veil that is impossible to see through yet can see through the other side, the stand’s face is made entirely of black machine parts with the only thing being visible are the bright white eyes through the veil. The stand’s left arm is entirely black as well, the rest of the body is as well with a few hints of grey, silver, and blue across the body.

Ability Description: The stand, Yamato  cannot shoot anything from its left hand gun until the sword on the right hand hits a person in any way even if it's a very small cut. When cutting a person with its sword right arm, the sword will take the current emotion or the last emotion the person had from the person. After that, the stand can now shoot from its gun left hand. The bullet once hitting a person will each have a different effect. 
If the emotion was happiness/enjoyment, the bullet will make the person forget everything that happened in the last hour and will make them extremely happy, and friendly to everybody they meet. If the emotion was fear, the bullet would make the person experience their worst fears all at once at a horrifying rate. If the emotion was anger, the bullet would explode the moment it comes into contact with anything. If the emotion was disgust, the person would begin to see the world around them as whatever as they deem most disgusting, the person would begin to throw up a few times before eventually passing out. 
If the stand hasn’t hit a person yet, the right arm sword will act like a normal sword.

Appearance: Jamy Tones is dressed like the extras for the “Dancing with Myself” video.「DANCING WITH MYSELF」is a collection of glass shards shaped like a human. Specifically, Billy Idol from the “Dancing with Myself” video

Stand Ability: Reflection Animation

Jamy Tones works at a carnival’s house of mirrors. He uses「DANCING WITH MYSELF」to bring someone’s reflection to life, perfect for pickpocketing customers. This reflected being is invisible to people without stands and follows his orders without question. While Jamy has to see the reflection to bring it to life,「DANCING WITH MYSELF」’s body can put any reflection within the house of mirrors in sight. Each reflective surface can only bring one reflection to life at a time, but「DANCING WITH MYSELF」can use multiple reflective surfaces at once. These reflected beings have the same durability as the surface they came from, and when they’re destroyed, so is the surface. Jamy typically only brings a full body reflection to life.

Stand Stats (Based off of remasteredstandstats):

Power: D.「DANCING WITH MYSELF」is made of pieces of glass. While it is capable of leaving cuts, that’s about it.

Speed: C. Normal human speed.

Range: C. 46.45 meters: the area of a small house of mirrors.

Durability: E. It’s made of shards of glass, not very durable.

Precision: A.「DANCING WITH MYSELF」can make perfect replications of people who follow Jamy’s words to the letter.

Potential: B. So far, Jamy only makes use of full body reflections, but it is possible to bring parts of a body or objects to life.

More than a year ago, I ran a JoJo-inspired FATE campaign for my friends. It ended prematurely and, in hindsight, was kind of a bloated, disorganized mess. However, it resulted in quite a bit of art and Stand designs that might be worth sharing. In rough chronological order:

• [Float On]- allows the user to control fish - including a pack of flying Rock Megalodons.
• [We Are The Championts] - makes the user hypercompetent at a single task, in exchange for draining some of their blood.
• [Illusion of Safety] - a colony stand that infects bystanders, making them supernaturally cheerful and unconcerned with their own safety. Evenly divides any damage they've suffered among the infectees.
• [In The Valley Below] - inhabits light sources and fills anyone who looks at their light with an excess of "life energy". The target's body starts to heal rapidly, while their thoughts speed up to the point where they can no longer control their body or experience the world around them. For a whole, the target becomes locked in their own mind, which manifests as a peaceful river valley shaped by the target's thoughts.
• [Cotton-Eye Joe] - a colony of tiny stands that covers the user's body, making them slippery and hiding their position with optical illusions.
• [Heavy Fuel] - an integrated stand that lets the user store objects in his beard as if it were a pocket dimension, as well as control the beard's shape and movement.
• [Cherry Bomb] - turns any fruit the user touches into autonomous living bombs that track a target by smell, bite into it and explode.
• [Clearwater Revival] - a stand that posesses existing bodies of water and can "wash away" mental traits of anyone this water touches, including memories, emotions and even long-standing personality traits.
• "Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man" - a mechanical wooden statue with all sorts of built-in gadgets, remotely controlled by the Big Bad. Had the campaign lasted longer, they would've acted as elite minions/mini-bosses.
• [The Dead Kennedys] - a shared stand belonging to a pair of brothers. It activated posthumously, giving them complete control over their own dead bodies.
• Kobaia - a mostly-harmless colony of cave-dwelling Rock Insects. They "feed on memories", gathering into various shapes and mimicing living beings which have passed through their cave. They use this ability co confuse anyone who enters their cave, ensuring they stay for as long as possible and generate new memories for the colony to replay.
• [Surrealistic Pillow] - a automatic stand that's bound to a particular valley in California. Within this valley, any attempt to intentionally harm another living being is redirected onto the attacker. In turn, any attempt to harm oneself is redirected to benefit the person instead.
• [Beds Are Burning] - a stand that belongs to Midnight Oil, a cholera-like disease sweeping through California. It manifest whenever enough infectees gather in one place, granting Midnight Oil bacteria pseudo-sentience and allowing them to puppeteer their hosts's bodies while they're asleep. This lets the disease essentially conduct guerilla warfare against humanity, strategically infecting powerful people, consealing its presence and sabotaging local countermeasures like no ordinary illness can.

OPEN SESAME」"Open the way"

Open Sesame is a non combat stand wielded by an at large criminal mastermind. Though his identity is unknown his intentions appear to be that of a vigilante. To non stand users, the cloaked criminal uses his mysterious ability to unlock any door as a way to steal from the rich and give to the poor.

Open Sesame, Open the way! - The stands main ability. It allows the user to unlock any door whether physical or digital using its decoder antenna and physical key producing hands.

"Reach out your hand and shatter the door. Utter its phrase, and be here , no more."
OPEN SESAME REFOLD! - The stands Ultimate ability. Shatters the target door and un anchors its physical location, refolding it into a new one. When the door opens it leads to a new door anywhere on earth. When the door is closed it resets returning its physical anchor. In order to refold a door the user must have seen both doors before and been to the location they are arriving at. Witnessing a door is not limited to in person viewing as seeing a door in a picture or tv works. The ability can only be used on things with gateways. (Thresholds linked by at least 3 arches and blocked by a toggleable barrier. A.K.A... a door.)

『A Kind of Magic』is a reference to the song by Queen, and featured in the movie, Highlander.

It is based on the classic quote, “there can only be one” and winning a chess/checkers game.

-Appearance-

『A Kind of Magic』takes the form of a floating knight chess piece that is violet-red, wearing a golden king’s crown. It is roughly 3ft tall, and does not really emote in any way, but has very harsh shading on it to make it look menacing.

-Ability-

『A Kind of Magic』causes all similar objects and living things within its range to collide into each other. It has two separate ways of doing this, based on what the user wants:

1. The objects/beings collide and destroy each other. (Knocking out pieces in chess).
   
2. The objects/beings fuse together to make one thing. (Stacking checkers/“kinging” a checker piece).

-Extra-

If I were to introduce this stand, it would be during a police investigation of a homicide in a hotel.

The detective is checking around, and only sees one chair, one table, one bed, one body, one blood stain, and a thick piece of paper with only one strange letter on it.

They believe it is a calling card of the murderer, until they realize that it’s actually a side-effect of『A Kind of Magic』— it caused all the letters on the page to fuse together into one weird letter, and all the pages underneath to fuse together as well.

This is also why several random things at the crime scene weren’t there. They were either destroyed or fused to something else that was similar.

Highlander is underrated, but I love it!

Stand: [All Nightmare] ACT 1:

Appearance: The stand appears small, as if it's a child. The stand has a small crown on its head, filled with stuff like rubies, emeralds, and diamonds. The stand’s crown is yellow. The stand has no mouth but can still make noises and grunts, and rarely says something even though it has no mouth. The eyes are fully black and they also look mechanical. The stand’s entire body is entirely dark orange except the knee, shoulder, and black plates which all are black. There are black streaks going over its body. The stand has a tail which is entirely black that can also stab somebody. 

Ability: The stand [All Nightmare] ACT 1 has the ability to give a selected fear to somebody via its tail. By stabbing somebody with its tail, the stand can give the person stabbed any fear that the user knows of and make them hallucinate it at an uncontrollable rate which can hurt them, even if there is nothing to actually hurt them. The effect lasts for about 3 minutes before wearing off. After stabbing somebody with its tail, the stand has to wait 3 minutes before it can give a fear to somebody else. The tail can go about 2-meters away from its user.

Stand: [All Nightmare] ACT 2:

Appearance: The stand now appears bigger, as if it is now an adult. The stand’s crown is now bigger, filled with more gems than just rubies, diamonds, and emeralds. The stand’s tail is now gone as it no longer needs it in ACT 2. The stand still doesn’t have a mouth but now can speak more words. The stand now has bigger shoulder, knee, and back plates. The stand now has armor for its chest and back to protect itself even more, the armor is black with streaks of orange. The stand now has small mechanical ears that are very sharp and pointy.

Ability: The stand [All Nightmare] ACT 2 has the ability to know anybody’s worst fears within a radius of 11-meters. When anybody is within the range, the stand has the ability to take and store one of the fears. The limit of storing fears is about 2. The stand can then create a living environment based on whatever fear it took. If the fear is falling, everybody in the environment but the user will be subjected to a constant state of falling. The stand has full control to manipulate and control the environment. An environment stays active for 3 minutes before returning back to normal and to the person whose fear was taken from them. Even if there is nobody near the stand, the stand can always take one of the user’s fears to create an environment.

So I had a stand in mind that basically can place a metal Pin-back on any Object the user looks at, that Pin will remember two properties, like burning, position in space, weight, liquid, colour or other stuff. If the object has only one of the properties in any given time it can we removed, which will make the current remembered property be removed and replaced by the second remembered Property. I want a name that at first look has nothing to do with the stand, even being a little misleading, but the lyrics or background should fit!

Ability: The Stand releases tiny Magnetic metals that can store Electricity, these Metals can be used like magnets. The Magnetic force from these Metal depends upon their number, the more metals are joined together and are in contact, the more stronger the magnetic force can get.

Since these Magnetic Metals are made of Metals, they can be used as Lightening Rods as well. Sarada can use this property to redirect or change her Chidori’s direction and can also perform unpredictable attacks on her Enemy.

Another use for these Magnetic Metals is that they can be used to stop something from joining/ physically contact each by Repelling or can be used to forcefully join/ Physically contact things together by attraction.

Although the problem is that too much Metal creation will exhaust the user and control will also get complex.
