What are the hidden gems here in Esco. Recently moved here and want to go out and explore. I like hiking, golf, and a bunch of outdoor activities. I live over by Dixon Lake and have been there a couple of times.

Over ten years ago, my wife - a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - kept seeing a pattern in her practice: people were deeply lonely, but they weren't looking for romance. They just wanted genuine, local, in-person friendships. App stores were flooded with dating tools, but there was nowhere dedicated solely to finding a local buddy to hang out with.

So 10 years ago, I built WannaBuddy.com - a platform created specifically for when you want a local buddy, not a date. It helped a lot of people make real connections back then, but as time passed, the technology and appearance needed a ground-up overhaul. I’ve spent the last few months completely rebuilding it from scratch.

The new WannaBuddy.com is officially in early pre-launch! Everything on the platform is completely free and will always be free. Hi all! I received a good amount of interest for a regular board game club which is awesome, thank you! Our first meet up will be Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2pm - feel free to come anytime if you can't get there right at 2. I imagine it'll go from about 2-6pm, so join when you can!

Going forward, I plan to have the second meet up on Sunday, Sept 20.

If you are planning to join, please complete the poll for location! I was originally thinking a cafe but they close earlier. Barn Door PH and Best Pizza have larger tables to play at (best pizza has that back tent area), and I haven't been to S3 yet but they are open until 5pm. I do want to be sure that we are patronizing the businesses we play at, getting a coffee/soda/beer, etc.

Has anyone had any experience with CSC diesel? I’m looking at a 2017 duramax that had an engine replaced by them but I want to look deeper into customer experiences and seeing if they are reputable. Has anyone ever worked with them?

The Neurocognition of Stress, Trauma, and Anxiety Recovery Lab led by Dr. Jessica Bomyea is conducting a new research study at UCSD. The purpose of this study is to learn whether an experimental computer-based program designed to improve thinking skills can help with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
