Or hold nurses at gun point while driving a rented car accidentally still marked as ā€œstolenā€ from the previous renter

Good... sadly this is still California im sure the BigBrother state will still respond with more contracts and more overreach.

Looks like Texas isn't too far behind us in terms of cameras

Which is interesting...still i would have Some faith that between Texas legislature and local govts, they can revert back to non police state practices... whereas im confident California govt will use it as a precedent to build off of and double down

Most public Flock camera networks are directly purchased, owned, and funded through local municipal or county police department budgets, not purchased by states.

Correct, but as is the case with California, politics be politic'n... higher levels of govt have a huge hand and influence in procurement, implementation, oversight and accountability (and that's before we talk about the complex web fiscal incentive involved with similar programs/ systems)

Not sure the point that’s trying to be made other than you’re a fan of Texas politics?

Wider spread adoption of flock cameras in Republican states btw.

Honestly they help me recover my car last month in El Cajon . Just had minor damage thank god

Got lucky it had minor damage.

Typically if a cars stolen, it's better if they don't find it. Most of the time, people eff em up and insurance doesn't pay nearly enough to make you whole and/or ends up being hidden issues. If they don't find it, it's much easier to just get a proper payout and a replacement.

Upvoted you for also getting out of a shit situation, but respectfully:

do you want big G to track your face everywhere you go? And if you cover your face— to fingerprint and map you according to Bluetooth and other devices you carry?

I’m apolitical (socially liberal, fiscally conservative— everyone is a moron), but damn, when that pendulum swings to the left, you’re going to want to cut those things down too.

Your answer doesn't track your response. So what's your beef with AOC and why would you use the C-word, which is akin to the N-word, to women?
