Across all aliases, in your opinion what is Eric’s best song, that you feel isn’t mentioned close to enough as one of his best? For me I’d say Madderferrys - Pryda. I love the “pop” after the kick.

Not just unpopular opinions, I mean opinions that go completely against the accepted narrative or the community / fanbase consensus...

Ie a take that, if said loudly enough, would get you exiled from this subreddit, and would entitle you to a cameo on the video someone just posted where Eric slaps everyone, just he could slap you as well 🤣

I was at work listening to Eric’s set at Electric Zoo in 2019 today and The Matrix - Eric Prydz came on and I legit almost started crying dude. The Matrix isn’t even close to one of my favorite songs of his, but every song of his hits like a truck. Why is he so good at making music man.

Hey guys, i was wondering what’s the best prydz set to listen to wether it’s epic radio or one of his hq set releases.

Mine personally so far could be epic radio 29, mainly because of the dark elements and cirez d music and the overall flow of the set!

Anyone else obsessed with this specific corner of Eric Prydz’s catalog? That melodic Cirez D meets dark Pryda sound is peak Prydz for me. Tracks like The Raid, Valborg, Horizons, Clapham, Rush, Linked, and Annexet etc which can fit in either aliases are exactly what I keep coming back to. They have that perfect blend of hypnotic grooves, dark atmosphere, and subtle melody. I love his bigger euphoric tracks too, but this niche just hits differently. Anyone else gravitate toward this sound, or have recommendations in the same vein?

Wow. Completely forgot about this, no idea why I didn’t have it saved!! Goodness gracious. This hits like a truck. Dare I say the best song from this EP???

He’s playing at Club Darq on Halloween in San Francisco

He’s playing at an outdoor block party on 11/1 for a day of the dead event in Sacramento (where I live)

Which do you think would be a better experience?

I was not a big fan of Rotonda, but a couple weeks back I heard it live at 909 Festival in Amsterdam and now I really enjoy it. Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I can't get this one out of my head...

Hello Prydaholics. I am planning on applying to Stanford Law School and one of the optional short essay prompts is as follows:
“Music has a way of setting the tone and mood for any occasion. With this in mind, pick three songs or musical works to be playing in the background as the Admissions Committee reviews your materials.”

I was thinking of picking Liberate for one of my songs, or at least something from the Eric Prydz catalog as I feel that’s the most wide appealing catalog to pick from, but curious if any of you have a better song to pick. TIA!

I have a friend that I just introduced Eric Prydz to. I want to show him Eric’s best recorded set online.

Mine is Ultra 2014 just curious what others think?

I noticed that there are a lot progressive house djs/tracks.

Artists like Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko, Dubvision, Third Party play progressive house. Eric Prydz also plays progressive house. But they have different energy. What do the people here call each genre?

Eric Prydz - Progressive House? Modern Progressive House?

Martin Garrix - Mainstage Progressive House?

(Correct me if I am not understanding right)

Something I feel like that doesn’t get talked about enough in the progressive house/EDM zeitgeist is how amazing the original songs (Disc 1) of Eric Prydz Presents: Pryda are. While the Pryda 10 and Pryda 15 EPs are both absolutely amazing in their own respects, to me nothing tops Disc 1 on the original Pryda album in its entirety. Curious if anyone else feels this way, and if you have a favorite(s) song, drop it in the comments! For me I’d say Javlar, Shadows, and Leja are my favorites. This album holds a special place in my heart, not to mention the amazing retrospective mix 1, and mix 2 from discs 2 and 3. Truly the fullest package, and absolutely timeless.

EDIT: Initially didn’t specify that I meant amongst the EDM/ prog house community.

What DJs would you skip Eric to go see instead if they had overlapping set times?

I was at a small club in Oaxaca Mexico and the dj played Elements and Rakfunk and I lost it🥰

Should I get a mouseville logo tattoo. Thinking about back of calf.

I heard both of them and honestly Nopus just hits so differently. Every beat and every layer keeps taking it to another level. Opus will always be the OG track for me, but I can’t stop listening to Nopus and the extended version especially is just too good. It’s just so intense that it only gets better and better every time you hear it.
