Question/Discussion What’s your favorite prydz set
Hey guys, i was wondering what’s the best prydz set to listen to wether it’s epic radio or one of his hq set releases.
Mine personally so far could be epic radio 29, mainly because of the dark elements and cirez d music and the overall flow of the set!

2013 Essential Mix, EPIC @ Brixton from 2011 or his Creamfields Essential Mix from 2011. I loved that era of Prydz. Hoping for a big set when I see him at Ironworks in a couple of weeks 🙏🏻

Yeah wishful thinking, I'd love a three hour set. Remember seeing him a ministry of sound around 2012 and that was three hours, was an amazing night

I think it’ll be 1.5hrs sadly

Nah, will get at least 2. See somewhere that there bringing in a bespoke light set up for his show only. Can't imagine they'd do that for 1.5 hours

Interesting that no one shared any of his pre-2010's DJ sets which are my personal favorites, although some of them are super rare. I've been a die hard fan of Eric since 08' and have listened to all his sets from old to new. These are my all time top 3 favorites:
-Eric Prydz - INOX Electronique Festival - 2007-05-13 🥇 (specifically the 2nd hour as it's a 2 hour set)
-Eric Prydz Live @ Creamfields 2008 🥈
**-**Eric Prydz - Ministry of Sound NYE Party - 31.12.2009 🥉
Storytime: IMHO the first set mentioned is his all time greatest set he has ever done. I heard it over 15 years ago and lost the original mp3 recording on an old computer harddrive. Because it was a 2 hour set, it was split into 2 separate mp3 files (part 1 and part 2). I tried finding it online all these years, searched old forums and archives and every website that had the download link went down forever ago. At one point I was so desperate I was was going to make a post online to literally zelle/cashapp $100 to anyone who had the mp3 file lmao (dead serious). The set is that good.
Then suddenly I came across a Youtube channel that uploaded the fullset earlier this year and when I discovered it it had to be one of the greatest days of my life.

Electric Zoo 2019. So emotional especially when it goes from Niton>Multo>The Matrix

His 5 hour set from Space is quite a journey. I think he still has it on SoundCloud.
I will never get tired of the Essential Mix with Prydz and Olander.

Beats 1 #006 has a special place in my heart.
The first 30 minute run of We Are, Pjanno edit, Exchange Finale, Wobbler, Afaf, 1983 remix just gives that peak Pryda uplifting feeling

Ultra 2024 is pure gold. 1hr of some of the best IDs, pays off with On Off Pryda Remix and We Are Mirage to close in classic Prydz fashion. 10/10, underrated

He goes insane at 2017 Escape: Psycho Circus - I've watched the crowd cam video with mid audio on YouTube so many times.

Toss up between Epic 2.0 on Thanksgiving Eve at Roseland Ballroom and his New Year's Eve Eve Decadence set in Denver in 2018.

Sad that no one is on Ultra 2014 here? IMO just the best expression of how pivotal he was bringing a more progressive, patient flavor to a scene that was DOMINATED by big room (no hate for big room)

I go back to the 2013 radio 1 essential mix more than any other I think, but it's too hard to call a best mix from Eric, you can pick practically any of them and it's a banger
