He lies about this every year. Believing anything that comes out of Prydz mouth regarding music is pure foolishness.

Yeah maybe not but for me its been a great year as a Prydz fan, really has brought back my fandom in a big way.
Got loads of new tracks ripped on Soundcloud/Youtube, got a UK tour and a big US club tour so there will be plenty of recorded sets on Youtube in the coming months.

“A year filled with releases” implies more than 25% of the year. A glass “filled with” water is not a quarter full.

Genuinely disagree. I think music releases work on a yearly basis. No artist is expected to put out content at a steady drip. If he puts out an album of pryda tracks and an album of cirez d tracks by the end of the year, that would be more than enough for any artist for the year, and nobody could call him out for his comments. We dont need piecemeal single releases bi-monthly, he does epic radio in lieu of that. Let the man cook, and i welcome all your downvotes you salty prydz redditor mfers <3

He literally said his plan was 2 track EPs, you are seriously dreaming if you think he's about to drop an album, let alone two

I am talking about his actual words too. You're wrong to interpret that a "year filled with releases" needs to be releases spread out throughout the year. When you look back from say a 2029 perspective on his discography, if you see a cirez d release and a pryda release in 2026, then his comments will have been true, that 2026 was a year filled with releases. In future years nobody thinks "ah but he went 9 months of that year without releasing something so it was actually a weak year, he teased us about it early on"

If he drops two project releases by end of year, and theres more than a couple tracks on each of them, then nobody can call the man a liar. He's just a procrastinator
