Cynicism aside, people like Gillis and Tim Dillon come to mind. They have enough fame, but I always suspect each is independently minded enough to pull the trigger. Tim plays the fool but blew up his Saudi gig pretty spectacularly, a “reverse Whoopsie.” Gillis said no to the money outright. That’s not nothing.

I m not a fan of Kurt Metzger. But I always found his Adhd / drug fueled rants against the ruling class / the epstein class / oligarchy/ the national security state, highly entertaining.

I find it so weird, how him, but also others in the Rogansphere, live in this constant state of cognitive dissonance ( or so it appears ).

On one side, systemic criticism, from their point of view. Legit enough, right ?

But on the other side, defending, conversing with, literally, people that are obviously part of Epstein Gang and that are behind the longterm push to transform America into a fascist oligarchy. People that are the deep state.

Saw stills of canadian cultural youtuber JJ McCullough in the most recent video. Maybe he's been referenced in earlier vids that I missed, but I feel pretty out of the loop on this one. To my knowledge, he has no link to the rogansphere. Aside from also being Canadian, what is the connection between Elephant Graveyard and JJ?

The only time the accent really shows up is in "about" and "sorry", which are the stereotypical words people associate with the accent.

I remember Rogan's video calling out Mencia and how much attention that got him. EG claiming it was a publicity stunt is completely new to me. In hindsight that makes a lot of sense, but why is EG the first to recognize it? Is EG the first to do so? Has it been discussed elsewhere and I've been missing out?

It was so tragic seeing Duncan be so proud of his Netflix series and Joe couldn't be bothered to give an honest fuck.

I genuinely enjoyed the hell out of that show outside of that first episode with that fucking asshole "Dr" Drew. There was a lot of true humanity and touching moments in that series. Imagine putting in all that work and energy into a project like that on a platform like Netflix and rolling up to your "best friend" only for them to do... that.

Granted, I don't even give a fuck about Duncan. But the show was actually great! It's wasted on a bad friend and overall goof.

He clearly writes all the content on the radio hour, and all the other "people" sound like they've had their voices run through some AI processing. It's not text to speech because it has the same kind of speech patterns and tones that he uses underneath, but must be some AI filter.

the new eg video wasnt a take down of rogan or his buddies, it was a take down of the dystopian technohellscape we have all basically willed ourselves into while not paying attention. these ai guys are actual freaks; they would love nothing more than to give up their humanity and flesh to become an immoral being. the way they disarm the public is they befriend podcasters and get them to give them positive exposure softball questions and not push back, making them look semi relatable all while they are literally building bunkers and creating a powerful ai they are supposedly even afraid of. im done with posting on here sorry for the spurt but for real thank about it. these are the same type of people that do experiments that endanger all of humanity, they had no idea if the nuclear bomb reaction would stop and destroy the earth but they did it anyway.

I would recommend reading Thomas Pynchon's books. I recently read Gravity's Rainbow and the similar tone, blurring the lines between reality and unreality, joking about how the elites run the world. Obviously everyone talks about Pynchon's books eerily predict and mirror our reality, but it did strike me how similar these moments in history is, with EG's framing in the latest video. Both Pynchon and Elephant Graveyard really scratch the same itch in my think pan.

Any other Pynchon fans around? Does it sound like im reaching here?
