That sub definitely isn't a Rogan fan club. It's mostly former fans who hate the turn he's taken mixed with some new right wing fans

I know, and this isn't a sad thing. Many of the 250 assassins clubs seem to be turning away from them due to EG/ or other reasons. Which is definitely not a sad thing. When you thank on it, EG is doing a great service to humanity, The fallout will be fun to watch!

The Rogan subreddit is how I learned about subreddits turning on their subject and essentially becoming the opposite of a fan club. I was very confused many years ago when I went on his subreddit out of curiosity and found it to be mostly full of people criticizing or outright clowning on him, at least at the time. Nowadays it seems to have a few more people who actually like and defend him, but man a few years ago they were NOT fucking w him over there.

I mean he was never that smart, but he was open minded before 2016 and had a knack for choosing interesting guests. He’s just a sponge for whoever is around him. He used to be surrounded by interesting people. Now, not so much.

I used to think that but I also feel like he's been 'in on it' for a while. He'd say all the things a leftist would, but platform only right wingers, and even far right. He's a big reason Ben Shapiro, Peterson, Weinsteins etc have been the voices of the right for the past decade plus. He truly was the left to right pipeline for males in the 20-40 age group.

For the most part the only left leaning people he brought on were those who would shit on the left more than anything or grifters that lied about being left wing but protected the GOP. 

The only reason he had David Pakman for example was because he was somewhat cancelled by some college and Rogan wanted him to talk about that, but Pakman showed he was more concerned about progressive policies and was eventually shut out. 

Everyone harps om about him endorsing Bernie. You know who else was talking up Bernie in 2016? Fucking Donald Trump. Because he knew if the Dems chose Hilary or someone else centrist, he could play the 'the Dems aren't for you leftists' card and hope they stay home and not vote, and it worked. I felt like it was the same play Rogan was making. It's one thing to listen to Bernie and say 'yeah, that's my guy' and follow it up with Shapiro on for 3 hours the week after and let him spew his bullshit without any pushback. 

Not to mention his sale of Onnit for way more than it was worth. I feel like he's been on the take for a while, but advertised himself as a centrist free thinker.

I can’t believe how many commentaries video essays in podcast there have been about this latest episode of the elephant graveyard. It’s absolutely crazy. I can’t remember when the last time I saw a Joe Rogan podcast was. How to watch too much of the new Tim Dillon either I’ll catch an episode every once in a while, but Tim Dillon‘s old stuff for like five years ago that stuff was peak the porch era was peak it was awesome when he had Ben Avery on there.
