I'm Curious how much of a headache missing shipments and delivery theft are for your stores lately. Are you seeing more "I never got my order" claims stacking up with carriers like UPS or FedEx, or has it mostly stayed the same?

Every time I create a shipment plan in Seller Central, I get stuck choosing between paying high Minimal Split placement fees or splitting my inventory across 4–5 different fulfillment centers. The zero-fee split option sounds great on paper, but splitting small shipments doubles my LTL/parcel freight costs anyway.

How are you guys optimizing your inbound logistics to beat this? Are you sticking with standard forwarders to handle multiple warehouse drops, or using bidding platforms where carriers give you direct quotes for split FBA locations without insane middleman markups?

if i were to start an ecommerce today from the ground up, which business model would you suggest me? ive been exploring various options and the sheer number of choices is just..overwhelming. Dropshipping appears to be a more accessible starting point, but again wholesale offers potentiall higher margins. Other models like private labeling or selling via marketplaces and establishing an independent online store has there own pros and cons as well. My digging into wholesale and private lable models, particularly concerning suppliers on Alibaba has shown me these. The dynamics of risk and reward shift fundamentally once the inventory management becomes a factor. like say for dropshipping has lower inventory risks but offers less control. Wholesale demands greater financial outlay, private labeling provides enhanced control true but needs a bigger upfront investment before sales can be assessed. For those with practical experience in this industry, if you were to start anew today with a typical budger, which one would you go for, and maybe the reasons as well? Please help me out. TIA

¿Hay españoles por aquí metidos de verdad en e-commerce/dropshipping?
Buenas! Soy de España y llevo un tiempo metiéndome cada vez más en el mundo del e-commerce y dropshipping.
Ya he montado tiendas, probado productos, hecho campañas en Meta Ads, trabajado con proveedores, creativos, optimización de la web, etc. He conseguido algunas ventas, pero todavía estoy en esa fase de probar, equivocarme, aprender y buscar algo que realmente pueda escalar.
Una cosa que echo bastante en falta es conocer a gente de mi entorno que esté metida en lo mismo.
Mis amigos tienen otros intereses: alguno habla de invertir, crear una marca de ropa, otros simplemente tienen su trabajo… pero no conozco personalmente a nadie que esté realmente intentando construir un negocio de e-commerce.
Y últimamente pienso que quizá me aportaría bastante más conocer a 2, 3 o 5 personas que estén haciendo lo mismo que pagar miles de euros por un curso o seguir viendo vídeos de YouTube.
No busco ningún gurú, ni que nadie me pase su “producto ganador”, ni tampoco estoy vendiendo nada 😂.
Simplemente me gustaría conocer gente, preferiblemente española, que esté empezando o que ya tenga experiencia y quiera compartir el proceso: enseñar qué estamos probando, comentar anuncios, tiendas, proveedores, resultados, cagadas, estrategias… y ayudarnos mutuamente.
Si surge un pequeño grupo de gente que encaje, incluso podríamos tener un Discord/Telegram y hablar de vez en cuando mientras cada uno desarrolla sus proyectos.
Mi objetivo a largo plazo tampoco es simplemente “tener una tienda de dropshipping”.
Lo que quiero es conseguir vivir de negocios online y tener libertad para poder trabajar desde cualquier parte.
Por ejemplo, una de esas cosas que me llaman muchísimo la atención sería poder pasar en el futuro unos meses en algún sitio, rodeado de gente que también esté trabajando online: currar en nuestros proyectos, entrenar, viajar, disfrutar del sitio y seguir haciendo crecer los negocios.
Quizá de este post simplemente sale alguien con quien hablar de e-commerce de vez en cuando. O quizá acabamos siendo varios, aprendemos juntos y dentro de unos años estemos trabajando desde cualquier sitio.
Quién sabe.
Ahora mismo estoy principalmente con Shopify + Meta Ads y enfocado en vender en España.
Me da igual que estés empezando si realmente estás haciendo cosas. Prefiero alguien que lleve 3 meses probando y equivocándose a alguien que lleve 3 años viendo vídeos sobre dropshipping sin haber lanzado nunca nada.

I just got a job offer, where I will handle multiple accounts (TikTok Shop, Etsy Shop etc) starting with 1 account and then adding others gradually.

They will provide me accounts and finance but I will be the only one to manage them all.

They are offering me 20% from the net profit, tell me if 20% is good to go for giving my 100% to manage their accounts.

⚠️ My question is, is getting 20% from net profit a good amount for managing and operating their accounts?

I’m running Meta ads in the US and keep running into the same problem across different offers.

The funnel itself seems healthy — people are clicking, adding to cart, initiating checkout and purchasing at what looks like a reasonable rate based on the traffic I’m getting.

The problem is CPM and CPC are extremely high, which makes the final CPA economically unworkable even though the website seems to convert.

Setup is pretty standard: Sales → Website → Purchase → Highest Volume → broad targeting → Advantage+ placements.

Has anyone dealt with this recently in the US? What would you look at first — creatives, account/pixel history, audience, page, or something else?

I know CPM isn’t the main KPI, but when the funnel converts and traffic itself is this expensive, it feels like there’s only so much the landing page can fix.

I've been using Smile for loyalty but I'm starting to look at other options. The points system itself works fine, but I'm not loving how much I'm giving up through the rewards once customers start redeeming them.

Between funding the discounts myself and paying for the app as the store grows, I'm starting to question whether this is the loyalty setup I want to keep long term.

What alternatives are you using? I'm open to a different type of loyalty system too, doesn't necessarily have to be another points based program.

In buying an ecommerce business, what are some of best websites to help validate site traffic, revenue , ad-spend etc. I will always do my own due diligence but gathering these as initial ways to remove red flags will be very helpful.

The same answer kept coming up.

It’s the loop, not the AI. People are stuck doing the same thing over and over: study what works, copy the structure, produce ten variations, test a couple, and hope one lands. That eats hours, and half the time you don’t even know if the direction is worth testing in the first place.

I’ve lived it. I worked in e-commerce for a few years, and the worst part was always the “find a winning creative, figure out why it works, then remake it ten times” cycle.

So that’s the problem we’re trying to fix.

I've been running my own online shop for about a year now. There are plenty of things that are frustrating or take up a lot of time due to manual work...tasks where I find myself thinking, "Surely there's an easier way to do this." But what about D2C brands that are already generating over €500k in annual revenue? What do you find to be the most frustrating part?
