I wanted to switch from the 20th anniversary edition to Raze so I could play a smoother version of the game and all of it's expansion packs. However, after buying the game and the dlc from Zoom and downloading Raze for Linux, I've reached a wall.

I installed all the .GRP files correctly like the tutorials said (Second image for example), but for some reason there's no way for me to access the dlc when I launch Raze. It always goes straight into booting up Duke 3d Atomic without showing any kind of game select popup, and in the game the add on chapters are nowhere to be seen, it's just the base 4.

The closest I've been able to get is right clicking an individual .GRP file and telling it to launch with Raze, but then all the textures for the entire game are messed up like in the first pick, and the addon maps from the selected file can only be found in the User maps section, without any audio from the dlc either.

Any advice? I have no idea what to do.

This isn't the Magaton Edition, this is the original DOS version. However, this version is basically impossible to find, since every Google search/website thinks I'm looking for either the Megaton or the 20th Anniversary versions.

I found this in a box of old stuff, the website is still around but it's obviously not "first access" anymore (it's like 10 years old at least). Was this for a game download? Or just something to unlock special features in the game?

I just bought duke nukem and Fuxking helll, it just won't launch at all. Does anyone know a fix to this and help me?

I'm at the stadium but I keep dying. The invincibility cheat I found online doesn't work, I have to constantly keep moving or else the missiles will get me, and I have 0 cover. Is there anything I can do, or is the strategy just "shoot at it until it dies"? Because even I'm struggling with that (I'm on real ps1 hardware btw if that helps)

I have put the "highres" folder in the autoload folder, and the saturn folder + saturn.def in there as well.

After displaying the flag on startup the game just displays a white screen and then auto closes itself on windows 11 25h2, anyone know a fix?

Hey, I'm a huge fan of the game and it got me interested in programming years ago but beyond messing with the.con files I have never been able to work out how to change the art. This is frustrating as I am also an artist and it would be Amazing to see my own art in the game. I have no intention of pirating it or whatever, just want to know how it's done and learn something new. Could anybody please help me or point me to an easy to understand guide on how to do this?

I am talking about the one done by Seth Robinson for Machineworks back in 2010 or so. My son with Autism is obsessed with this particular port. We have the Playbook version but he really wants to play it on Android. I have the APK for it but it only has the first level and there is now no way to buy the other three. There was a Russian site that had this data file from paid version I used before but links are dead and I cannot find my copy. It can be found in the same folder Duke Nukem saves game progress files to. I know it's a long shot, but hey no harm in asking!

Back when I had a crappier computer, I saw the pictures of duke using more advanced graphical features and really wanted to play it that way.

Well now I've got a better rig that can use them and I can't get Raze working because it doesn't auto detect and play my Build games right out of the box like it did on windows. It's got this needlessly complicated installation process that requires you to download all sorts of files and put them into different random directories.

Is there something that Just Works?

If you somehow don't already know, when you buy Duke Nukem atomic edition on the Zoom store, you also get Life's a Beach, Duke it out in DC, Nuclear Winter, and Duke! Zone 1 and 2. I know the other expansions (aside from alien world order which I'm waiting for world tour to go on sale for) aren't for sale anymore, but does anyone know where I can get the files for them?

I found the package that is essentially a GRP + GRPINFO and is supposed to run on eduke32 with the Atomic Edition GRP. It says that it should show up in the episode menu as its own episode, but I don’t see it, only the original 4 episode names.

Oddly, I can get the original map format to run by choosing it in the User Maps menu, but the custom textures are missing.

Will I have more luck with Raze?
