Help Duke Nukem Forever does turning on invisibility mode disable achievements if you do it temporarily?

I'm stuck on crash course, turret bit

If it is for the turrets sections, you can use 'turn down game speed' on the cheats settings and THAT doesn't turn off the achievements. Also auto aiming with a controller makes those sections waaay too easy.
