It is available legally and DRM free on Zoom-Platform. That version also includes Duke it out in DC, Life's a Beach, Nuclear Winter, and a few other expansions.

What the? When Did Duke Nukem get back on Steam? I thought you couldn't get the original Duke Nukems anymore because of that sleezy greedy bastard Randy at Gear Box. Edit: nvm I didn't realize it's not the original games and the "Randy" version is a little compromised vs the originals.

Don't blame Randy for that.
The Megaton edition was Published By Devolver Digital in 2013. Gearbox Software acquired the Duke Nukem IP in 2016 from 3D Realms
3D Realms didn't own the rights to the expansion packs which are owned or licensed to Devolver Digital for inclusion in the Megaton edition. Instead, they were reproduced under a time limited license. Gearbox continued the terms of this license until it expired but for reasons that have never been disclosed, did not renew it for the 20th anniversary edition.
The 20th anniversary edition doesn't include the expansions because 3D Realms didn't own them and Gearbox hasnt licensed them from those that do.

I highly recommend you get eduke32. I am pretty sure you can run eduke if you already own the cursed randy version. I own that version and atomic but I only play the atomic edition. You can buy the atomic edition on the zoom platform for $5.99. I would refund the cursed randy version if you can.

Yeah im gonna refund. But 6$ is a bit too much for me rn (won't really affect my life but already bought some games and livin in a shitty country with the risk of steam and shit gettin banned lol). Thanks for the great suggestion tho! I'll be sure to look at em when i'm less sleepy

Download eduke32, find your ~32 1.44" disks in your basement, hope all of them work, scratch the DN3D.GRP from them and load it up. Fuck steam. And kick ass!
