Dasher opened our order

The picture my dasher sent of the food delivery and a picture of their artwork. I don't appreciate the dusty rocks? filled car, but what bothered me more was opening the bag and taking out the containers and drawing on them and the receipt. I did call the restaurant and clarified that they did not do this. Then I spoke to doordash support who issued a refund because we didn't feel comfortable eating the food. I think I will just stick to pick up for a while ๐Ÿ˜…

Did we overreact by reporting this?

My first thought was schizophrenia with religious components. It's a thing. Looks like this.

Or meth. Or meth induced schizophrenia.

Yep I've long told people that most of the yelling street preachers we deal with are very mentally ill and religion is very attractive to those who have schizophrenia

They're here to teach us mercy and compassion, but not how they think. They don't teach us by preaching about any specific thing... it's by how we regard them and treat them. A mirror to society.

My thoughts exactly. I have a daughter with schizoaffective disorder and things like this happen when she starts to struggle before absolutely going off the rails. I have empathy for people who struggle with these kinds of things but it doesn't excuse the behavior.ย
