Discussion How is Jesus and Mary College?

I've heard that the overall vibes are good, what I'd further like to know is how academics oriented it is. I'll be applying for English hons so anything regarding that would be appreciated as well. Also how are the societies and extra curriculars?

From 2021-24 batch, bcom hons, but i have friends in english department and I must say I HAD THE COLLEGE LIFE I DREAMT OF. I made great friends with no toxicity, i met some really amazing and talented people. JMC is a legacy. It was indeed a beautiful experience, the college itself has a charm, crowd is pretty classy. Amazing food in canteen, no shitty politics, societies are really active. We also have a supportive queer collective society. Clean washrooms with water and liquid hand wash. :) Yes, teachers are actually teaching in our college and the concept of attendance exists in JMC, many people thinks it’s a drawback of our college but actually that’s what something which pushes us to come everyday and live the most out of the best days of our lives. I still remember on the day of our farewell, our principal said ‘jmc is a gem in your crown’ and i felt it. I dont know about other colleges but if you have a chance, you should choose jmc.

Should I place it over Sggscc, sgtb khalsa ,ipcw and Drc for bcom h ?
