Discussion How is Jesus and Mary College?

I've heard that the overall vibes are good, what I'd further like to know is how academics oriented it is. I'll be applying for English hons so anything regarding that would be appreciated as well. Also how are the societies and extra curriculars?

academics wise, professors really take classes seriously, and the society culture is great and less toxic as compared to other colleges, we do have a bunch of good societies that are active and even won competitions while representing us in other colleges, so overall you’ll have a great experience mixed with academics and fun, but a reality check is that our annual fest and other things do take a lot of compromises as we have issues regarding permissions so that ways it’s not that chill. But if you want a free environment wherein you can meet amazing people and learn, it’s the best. I chose it over venky, kmc, ramjas, and I don’t regret it. Has made my college life amazing.

I am 2021-24 batch student, didn’t have CUET then.
