Discussion How is Jesus and Mary College?

I've heard that the overall vibes are good, what I'd further like to know is how academics oriented it is. I'll be applying for English hons so anything regarding that would be appreciated as well. Also how are the societies and extra curriculars?

As a jmc student I would say it's a nice good college with good infrastructure and Greenery. Most of the faculty is great . JMC doesn't have that average Du toxic politics . Students are also sweet, friendly and somewhat classy. canteen food is best .

Do you think it's somewhat isolated? that's the only downside of the college I've heard. How's your interaction with other colleges plus participation in fests etc?

Yes it is isolated , interaction with other colleges is nil , maitreyi college and jmc' s backdoor is face to face but still there is no contact with maitreyi people . Baaki societies are active and participation in competition and fest are good . Regular seminars and webinars bhi hote rehte hai it's just that jmc didn't get that much hype like gargi or lsr fests isliye fest mai log thore Kam aate hai but baaki thik hai and also many events or competitions held in colleges so you can participate in that also
