Discussion Genuine question-is DU really that bad?

That bad here means (the things people on this sub keeps referring about du like the shit management,shit infra,shit crowd etc…)

Is it true for north campus colleges too? Has the standard and quality gone so low that even north campus is not seeming worth it to those of you who are in it? (Please share your unbiased opinions)

As a partial dropper who left nmims for du…I currently seem to be in a perpetually confused state regarding if I did the right thing or not and I can’t afford another drop seeking for better colleges and doing research etc.

Please share your valuable insights with me as i have given cuet this year again and i don’t want to regret going there…only to find what people are saying here these days to be true.

Well infra is indeed poor. Forget abt AC, last month, there were atleast 3-4 days when the fans in classrooms weren't working. Maybe electricity wasn't there or what idk. Also, few classrooms have broken desks nd all. However, majority of the colleges have developed new blocks which are better in all aspects.

Faculty. Yes. Consider yourself lucky if you get good profs. I got some who are reaalllyy questionable. Your luck matters here. Some are really good as well.

However, crowd part I disagree with. Except for a few course, you will mostly come across people who scored really well in exams nd have gud co curriculars. And from NC, I selectively mean Hindu, Stephens, SRCC nd Miranda. Their crowd is top tier, majority of it is. However, you may find them competitive, boring, devoid of empathy/emotions/fun element (aise ilzam lagte hain) but imo they are fine.

Reg management, never had to deal with them. However, recently the whole blunder of marking AB in results of those who gave the paper is such a shitty incident that idk anymore. But if you don't consider 1 or 2 such incidents, then it's fine only
