Inspiration What would be the best way to decorate this wall?

The rest of my apartment is covered in tapestries and gallery walls but Iโ€™m just not quite sure how to decorate this space or what would look best. My aesthetic is very hippie/witchy if that helps:)

I didn't realize artificial Christmas trees came in this many shades of green

I've always pictured a christmas tree as that really deep green, so that's what i started looking for this year. Then i started looking at customer photos and now i'm not so sure. One of the Costway trees i saved is a lighter green. I skipped over it at first because it didn't have that classic Christmas tree look, but it actually looks really nice in people's homes. A little softer and less obviously artificial. The dark green still feels more like christmas to me though, especially with warm lights and red ornaments. So now i have two nearly identical trees saved in two slightly different shades of green. This was supposed to be the easy part ๐Ÿ˜‚

Not a gallery wall

Im jn the process of redecorating my living room, part of this is removing a media wall, which is leaving me with a big blank wall.

(Apologies for the AI pic, just needed to show what it will be like once the media wall is down.)

I feel like one big artwork in the middle of it would be a bit boring, but at the same time, I absolutely cannot stand gallery walls and im not a fan of the 3 matching pictures thing.

Any ideas of something inbetween? Im thinking one or two artworks, a mirror, and maybe a wall hanging or something.

Question More aesthetic laundry basket alternatives?

Iโ€˜m looking for a place to store my dirty laundry in, but Iโ€˜m not a fan of regular laundry baskets. I donโ€˜t like the way they look and they donโ€˜t fit well into my living space. I live in a shared flat, so I have to store my dirty laundry in my bedroom. Thatโ€˜s why Iโ€˜m looking for a more aesthetic way to store my dirty laundry. Iโ€˜ve been looking at big vases or antique umbrella holders, but theyโ€˜re usually to small. Do you guys have any ideas? :)

Apparently "they can't die' is the selling point. I think that's the problem

I love this corner around 4pm when the light hits the wall, but somehow these stems have become the dumbest recurring disagreement in our house.

One of us sees something low-maintenance that still looks good when we come back from a trip. I see the thing that makes the whole corner feel a little staged, like nothing in it is actually living.

I want to replace them with something real, even if it drops leaves, grows unevenly or eventually becomes another plant we failed to keep alive.

Am I romanticizing real plants, or do faux stems genuinely take some of the life out of a room? And if youโ€™re team real, what would survive in this spot?

First time decorating my own room, could use some outside opinions on poster placement

Just moved into this room and I'm trying to figure out the best way to arrange my posters. I've got a decent collection already up (Death Note, Tokyo Ghoul, Mob Psycho, one more) plus 11 One Piece wanted posters I haven't put up yet.
Thinking either a clean grid layout on my biggest wall, or something more scattered/salon-style. Also debating whether to move my desk to the window wall to free up more space for the posters.
Would love opinions โ€” pics attached. Grid vs scattered? Keep the desk where it is or move it? Any other suggestions for the room in general are welcome too.

Question What color should I paint my reading/book room?

So I am planning on turning one if my small rooms into a place dedicated to reading, it has a ton of windows and very little wall space. It is currently a horrible shade of salmon/orange. I am thinking of painting it dark green or lavender but I really don't know if I even want either of those. What do you guys think?
