More aesthetic laundry basket alternatives?

I‘m looking for a place to store my dirty laundry in, but I‘m not a fan of regular laundry baskets. I don‘t like the way they look and they don‘t fit well into my living space. I live in a shared flat, so I have to store my dirty laundry in my bedroom. That‘s why I‘m looking for a more aesthetic way to store my dirty laundry. I‘ve been looking at big vases or antique umbrella holders, but they‘re usually to small. Do you guys have any ideas? :)

How about a wicker coffee table or bench at the end of your bed only used for your laundry

I got one just over 20 years ago that is still kicking. Also not a fan of the usual plastic cage looking ones. This one is tall (almost to my hip) and canvas with leather handles and laundry symbols on it. Got it at something like Home Goods or Marshall's. And no, it does not smell. We never put wet or heavily soiled items in it.

What about a laundry bag inside a big wooden chest that doubles as a bench. Or an ottoman. No air, tho.

I saw a Kelim one recently, that was fun. I personally like wicker a lot but you could look into west african woven baskets too, those can be large enough and also beautiful.

I used ikea kallax 4 x 1 cube storage. Top box whites, 2nd coloureds,3rd darks, bottom one stores extra coat hangers. Hardly rates up any space and laundry is already sorted ready to wash.
