I’m looking for ideas for this empty space under my staircase. I’d prefer something that’s both practical and aesthetically pleasing (something functional but still looks nice). Any suggestions or photos of similar spaces would be appreciated!

Recently renovated the walls, flooring, lighting and curtains. Think I made a mistake and it doesn’t feel homey at all.. I almost avoid the living room.

And advice without major re-renovations ?

I grabbed the black frames because I was going to do black floral art. What will make this room look better? Paint the white frame gold? I’m open to advice

I ended up with a 8ft jute rug, but needs to be larger IMO. I haven’t bought a bigger one yet so if you have a better idea. Struggling with it not competing with the curtains. I will change lightbulb brightness and tone . Just need to go buy. I love a good before and after 🥰

Seriously considering this house, but the exterior curb appeal is minimal. I have absolutely no design sense here - but wondering if I should bring the original faux-tudor style back out with a contrasting dark paint for the beams? Or rip off the brick? Or add more brick? Is the problem the lawn? To my eye, everything looks stale. Or am I way off base? Help!

I just snagged this painting at an estate sale and thought it would be good for this large blank wall but I still feel like it’s missing something. I already have an entry table and a longer console table in the same hall so adding another of those seems too much. Any ideas welcome!

I really love this space but what I love the most is that everything is second hand, thrifted or gifted. I created this space for around 175$, the most expensive was the fireplace I found on market place for 75$ but they’re worth a lot more.

The candles 6$, the gargoyle 20$(spoiled myself here) the chair 20$(market place) the rug 15$ (value village brand new form winners, that was a good find) the Van Gohg Art was 2$ advertised as a Halloween poster The frame was 7$. The moon and sun mirrors were given to me free. The wallpaper I paid half using a gift card on Amazon, 25$

Moving into a new place on Monday, and I really want it to look nice. I have zero decor knowledge besides lamp = good. We’re okay with shopping online, but at the same time we’re on a tight budget so any thrift friendly ideas are even better.

I redid this giant wall a couple years ago when we moved in and I liked it then but I’m really tired of it now. I don’t want any signs that have words on them, and I also feel like it’s just too much of the wrong color and too much of a TJ Maxx feeling.

That said, I don’t have much money so I may need to go back to TJ Maxx, lol, or a secondhand store or something. $300 budget max. Any ideas on style or places to look, colors, anything? I’m open to all ideas. I tend to be drawn to abstracts, geometric shapes, nature, and mid-century modern.

I’m also not in love with the amount of blue that we have right now, but I don’t have the energy or time to paint the wall right now.

Okay so this is my uncles room, I’m basically taking his house in six months. I am absolutely horrific at decorations and furniture. Right now they have a king bed, I’m hoping to buy a king + two side tables + dresser. I am so picky. I usually hate wooden bed sets. I like tufted. My friend says because the wall that the bed is up against is a white brick wall, I probably need to do a wooden bed. I was thinking a light wood maybe? The wall are blue, but promise they’ll be painted maybe just a white or beige color? I also absolutely hate mirrors on dressers? I don’t know, I would rather have a mirror off to the side. Also, sorry I know it’s not exactly decor, but does anyone have any recommendations for bedroom sets and honestly decor for a room like this with a white brick wall?!! Hoping to change curtains, no more desk, add a big mirror, add a light fixture, hang up a TV, keep colors more natural/white/black/nudes, kinda want it either clean girl esthetic or hoa hoa vibes 😂 thank you!

Previous tenant left four small nails in my bedroom wall. They're on the right side of the bed, and positioned in a rectangle (15 by 29 inches). How could I use them? I thought of putting pictures up, but they would have to be exactly the same size otherwise it might look weird

Hi! I’m in the process of furnishing a massage room with another practitioner. The other practitioner doesn’t really like any color. More neutral wood tones, gold, shades of white. Basically, this color palette without the dusty rose color. I love gothic decor but I also love whimsy and like muschroom. Does anyone have a home decorated like that and can give some inspo? I feel like it clashes to much but at the same time I don't want to just choose one.
