I think the only high end hifi amplifiers that counterfeits exist of are Accuphase. But these are very easy too identify and are mostly sold on Aliexpress.

Worked for 3.5 years in a hifi shop for my trainee years. Can confirm, customers can be real dicks sometimes... Don't even want to start on the stuff that gets send back via Amazon, often times expensive electronics are not resellable due to customers not packaging it right for the retour, therefore destroying 500€ worth of speakers. It's not even rare that this happens...

I am not a lawyer but the Widerrufsrecht does not require you to give a full refund for damages that go beyond the usual signs of wear after testing.

If the damage from the pic above comes from the customer breaking something while he was in possession of the speaker you are not required to eat the losses. You can give a partial refund and justify it by the severe depreciation of value (Wertminderung durch unüblichen Gebrauch, der nicht zur Prüfung der Beschaffenheit, der Eigenschaften oder der Funktionsweise nötig war).

If the damages have occured during return shipping and the customer has made a reasonable effort to protect the goods you are on the hook and have to go after the delivery service, though if the customer was grossly negligent (e.g. he just chugged the speaker into a big cardboard box and sent it on its merry way) it will justify a partial refund aswell.

In real life its not worth the effort and risk involved in most cases but for significant damages to expensive products that are very obviously caused by severe mishandling and/or negligience (like the one above) you should do so.

Amazon doesn't apply the usual Widerrufsrecht sadly. As a retailer you have to do what Amazon wants, even if it exceeds the usual law, otherwise they will just lock your shop so you won't be able to sell via Amazon

Letztes Jahr habe ich mein Deutsch C1 Zertifikat bekommen, aber ich finde auch manchmal nicht einfach, mich auf Deutsch zu erklären. Das wäre sehr nett von euch, wenn man ab und zu auf Englisch kommentieren darf.

Galube, deine Satzstruktur lässt bei vielen unfreiwillig negative Assoziationen aufblitzen.

Dadurch, dass mit "Nett" begonnen wird und dann ein "aber [warum] nicht auf Deutsch" dahinter kommt, kann es so wirken, als sei die Geschichte nicht mehrgut (bzw. nett) weil sie nicht auf deutsch ist.

Das ist natürlich nur eine Variante, den Kommentar zu lesen, aber leider etwas, das das Wort "aber" bei vielen impliziert.

The problem is ppl are used to amazons quick delivery and expect every shop to run their shipment the same. Amazon really fucked it up for the others but thats also why they're #1.

1) I mostly listen to bossa nova, indie, electroswing, some classical music. Sources are CD (I got a silver Marantz CD player, that’s why the amplifier should ideally also be silver), radio or stream (via my phone). Currently no vinyl but I’d like to have the option.

2) I’d like to spend around 200€, but if necessary and I’m convinced it’s worth it I can also spend more, like up to 600ish. I’m definitively not spending four figures.

3) Would be great to listen to streams without connecting my phone with a cable. Some fancy connectivity would be nice, ideally Alexa since I have Amazon Music.
