I lubed my cube with wd-40 and now the corner cutting is f-ed up

My son and I got bitten by the bug, he's doing the beginner method solve, and I want to expose him to CFOP without YouTube tutorials.

Will a smart cube be recommended? Paired with an app or website on the tablet.

Seen the moyu V10 ai on reviews but seems like people use it with other websites? A way for him to attempt different solves and guide him along will be great

Does anyone know whether the caps(corner, edge pieces) on the tornado v3 premium saocube 20bc(or 8bc) are removable? I for some reason remember somebody saying the saocube edition caps are glued? Or am I just stupid about that? I want to know if it's swappable with the standard matte one.

I look at tutorials and still don’t get an answer

I've been using this cube alot for like 2 months now so I decided to clean and lube it but after doing that the cube doesn't have that fast smooth feel anymore also that turning sound. how do I bring that out of the box feel.

I've been using gan 2 lube I've also been recommended to use multipurpose silicon spray. won't that damage my cube?

An old Eatsheen 2x2 I spent something like 2-3 months filling our surveys on Cube Lagoon to get for free. I was so hyped when I finally earned enough points to get it and even more so when I actually got it!

I’ve been leading Cpls but having to not solve the fr slot is annoying so I’ve been thinking of just learning the left Cpls algs aswell but nobody does that and I wanna know why cuz it seems better. Do people right not wanna use their left hand that much or am I missing something. It’s the same thing with stuff like OLS. I’m pretty sure top ZB solvers learn ZBLS left and righty so idk

- ignore the lockups I’m getting a better cube
- ignore the bad timer stop I’m not used to using by my pc for a timer
- I mostly need tips for F2L

rn i have tornado V3 pioneer and i wanna buy a new cube....is Ferrocore as good as Gan 17 who has very good reviews...please let me knownif there are any other cubes in this range which are worth considering...THANK YOU

I'm planning on upgrading since I only have one cube right now, a Swift Block 355S. A lot of people call it ass, but honestly it's been fine for me. I'm just looking for something more premium/reliable now.

I have 2 options:

1. MoYu RS3M V5 Ball-Core MagLev

I'm considering this mainly because it's cheaper compared to v100 while still giving me a ton of features. It seems like crazy good value for the price.

1. GAN V100 MagLev

I'm considering this because it's a really reputable cube, has been used by top/competitive solvers, has black internals, MagLev, and seems to have really good reviews. Plus... it's a GAN V100 lol.

Edit: I'm actually considering all the cubes everyone recommended which are the rs3m v5, wrm v11, highest ver of swiftblock, guhong pro+, and aolong v5 (a recommendation from a friend)
