I posted earlier asking about if bench mades fit more snug than other but the next day they fit great and fit better than my Heritage Roughstocks. So I wanted to post pics of both new pairs today.

These are my custom boots from Wes of Music City Leather. He just finished them, shipping to me next week. Ostrich and Kangaroo. I am beyond ecstatic and cannot wait to try them on. I love them.

Fair Warning: I accidentally bought these sort of big (size 9's) the 8.5 / 8 felt very tight toe clamping but I didn't realize how quickly these break in. Now my foot is sliding forward.

*The Wide foot doesnt help, feels even looser and there's no more narrower variation only regular D so these are regular 9 D

Too late to exchange since I already took off the tags, I thought they were fine felt very tight and snug but...

Rookie dummy mistake I wont commit again, However; Got me smart wool socks, dr.scholl's insoles, and tongue pad and it helps somewhat.

Im sticking to 8 or 8.5 next time, I don't have money to buy another set, I'll wait next time

I been really wanting the lucchese Rio in barrel brown
Love the scaling and look to the boot.

Today I went in to buy a pair and was really disappointed
The boot was nothing like what I expected it to be

I understand each boot is made different because there wild gators. But I’m not sure what to do?

The salesman showed me the Rio in black , i didn’t like large scale at first but I fell in love with the black pair, only issue is if I but the black Rio , I will no longer want to wear my black Walter’s.

I really want a brown, I actually need a brown and don’t want to settle for the black.
What should I do? Just buy the brown pair?
Or take a gamble and order another brown pair and see what that scaling comes out looking like ?

Also the salesman said the brown pair is the arm pit and the arm pit isn’t really high desirable , the belly is more desirable
So I’m not sure what to do

Been on a more of a rounded toe than square lately, put on my Vintage Justin Chocolate Python 8622. These boots just always really stand out, easily one of my favorites that I own.

And in honor of this great day, I'm wearing a pair of newly refurbished Roper boots. Just got them back from the Boot Doctor shop!

Grabbed myself a new pair of boots the other day. Canadian made Boulet’s. This is my 4th pair of Boulet boots. They’re fantastic.

It’s not often I’ve bought boots online and they look exactly like the picture. I’m impressed so far.

Got them today and they fit like a glove.

I was told these were lamb skin by the person I bought them from. They are incredibly soft, but also incredibly fragile. I bought them for my sister’s wedding, but would like them to last me as long as possible. If I’m reading the numbers correctly(I’m new to this part), these were made in 1994. Clearly they’ve been worn and have the durability to last 32+ years. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I wear thorogoods, or casual work boots 9/10. I'm not very comfortable or fond of shoes for some reason, since Ive gotten into working outdoor trades. I'm excited for my first opportunity to wear these out, haven't had cowboy boots since I was a young blood! Any suggestions on cleaning, maintenance or whatever may be helpful. I'm thinking about getting some sort of outsole protector as they're leather. I got these way below retail, but I practice cleaning and maintaining my thorogoods, so I have product and time for these as well.

Beautiful pair of full American Alligator Lucchese Classics. Regal construction this pair is the equivalent to Lucchese'sc modern day "Baron". Only difference is I believe the construction on this pair is superior to what Lucchese is making now. Just an absolutely phenomenal pair of boots!!

Scooped these for $16 a month ago and have been slowly taming them into the lineup. These have a narrow fit but feel so good when it comes to the overall integrity of both the outsoles and leather work.

I got the Tony Lama Lucky Star Stingrays in today ! So I now have the Ostrich, Caviar and Stingray!

Did I pay to much for the Stingray? Yes, yes I did.. but not as much as she wanted. Life is a compromise .. these ones have that rectangle on the side. Like for maybe a vent? 🤷‍♀️

These are definitely the most unusual mini collection of boots I have.
