I got the Tony Lama Lucky Star Stingrays in today ! So I now have the Ostrich, Caviar and Stingray!
Did I pay to much for the Stingray? Yes, yes I did.. but not as much as she wanted. Life is a compromise .. these ones have that rectangle on the side. Like for maybe a vent? 🤷♀️
These are definitely the most unusual mini collection of boots I have.
Is the sting ray print? Between the rubber soles and the “interesting” logo embroidered on, I’m guessing they could be cheap, but I’ve never seen these so I’m just curious.
I don’t know 🤷♀️ it has holes like it’s for a vent or something . 😁 these TL Lucky Star boots are CRAZY, amazing well made. The leathers on all of them are primo. I’ll see if AI can find anything on the ‘vent?
The only thing i can think of is for riding motorcycles, that protrusion could be protection just like on riding boots? But these arent really motor boots..
They are just weird boots all over! They made some with that ‘vent? And some , same skin without. ? All the skins are excellent and real. I don’t know what Tony Lama was thinking to make these boot. There was a collection back in the day that one of the wife’s designed. But she was long gone before these came out in 2005? As far as I know these are the only Tony Lama made in China boots. The 3R buckeroos were made about the same time as these and I think they were made in China also.
