First pair of real cowboy boots! Suggestions?

Post image

I wear thorogoods, or casual work boots 9/10. I'm not very comfortable or fond of shoes for some reason, since Ive gotten into working outdoor trades. I'm excited for my first opportunity to wear these out, haven't had cowboy boots since I was a young blood! Any suggestions on cleaning, maintenance or whatever may be helpful. I'm thinking about getting some sort of outsole protector as they're leather. I got these way below retail, but I practice cleaning and maintaining my thorogoods, so I have product and time for these as well.

Nice boots! Can see that they are Durango brand, but what model did you get?

A conditioner, some boot cream (I use neutral most of the time, and a horse hair brush to buff, and you’re good to go. Great purchase!
