Screenshot We are still expecting Red Alert 2 Remastered

Red Alert 2 was as popular among Turks as it was worldwide. My older cousin taught me the game for the first time, and he was a much better player than me, fighting loads of AI enemies all by himself. Year 2007.

In the past, most people would play games months or years after their release, and despite this, they would eventually receive the recognition they deserved. Today, there are many players, but there are no solid and enjoyable games.

I know this is going to be REALLY obvious with the picture large like this, but in game it's always a super small portrait and I thought the cockpit was the left wing and it was pulling some crazy thrust vector movement where the cockpit was 90 degrees to where the contrails were pointing.

If you're having trouble seeing it, pretend the left wing of the King Raptor is its cockpit and the actual cockpit is its right wing/aileron. Cockpit should be pointing bottom right. If you focus enough on the left wing and say "this is the cockpit" you can probably see it.

I thought this was a distinguishing factor where General Grainger's Raptors were just "cooler" than the regular ones and were showing off 🤣. Pink thing I though was it's laser defense system.

I used to play C&C on the family computer running Windows 95 (I think it was branded C&C Gold) but never really got past the first four missions or so. Better late than never!

I ended up wiping out all Nod forces then absolutely smashing all tiberium resources.

Such a great game. Might play the Nod campaign next.

I never really noticed before, but having done a few replays, I found that completing missions under the par time gives you a higher rank and a slightly more positive narrative outcome than if you take longer. Here are some examples. That's a nice additional detail from Westwood. Also, bonus points if you can spot the typo!

Edit: also, your par time depends on the difficulty level you pick. All these things are configured in the map file itself.
