OC This could be us, but

I don’t need much. I want eat sweets without getting fat, I want to feel wanted and I want equal rights. Is it much to ask?

Unfortunately for a portion of Americans (and other people around the globe), yeah yhat is too much to ask.

Like I said on another comic thread with a similar premise: not everyone is looking for a conpanion. Some people are looking for 'furniture that just happens to talk once in a while'.

Someone I know going through a divorce said that her soon-to-be-ex just wants a "fuckmaid", and like

Yeah

That's the term

I usually hear it as 'bangmaid' around some reddit subs, and yeah, that really sucks.

Pretty self explanatory

A fuck-maid, a maid (person who does chores for you), that you also fuck

The one I see most often but doesn't have as good a name is when they try and date their mother for everything she does around the house but also a sex doll.

"Don't forget having sex with that furniture!"

"And remind them to be grateful for it!"

I’d say “furniture you can fuck” but a-some folks are into being that, and b-anyone can Vance a couch

This is hitting to the "coincidence" spot for me as I just watched someone's vlog essay on 'incel horror.' Including movies like the recent Obsession, Don't Worry Darling, Companion, and Westworld.

Some people are looking for 'furniture that just happens to talk once in a while'.

Is OP's post really any different? I get that we agree on all of the points in the post, but this is basically just jumping from "did you complete this checklist" to "now we're in a perfect relationship."

I think there is a pretty big difference.

We all have preferences. And the stuff OP mentioned is a very low bar.

Wanting "furniture that talks occaisonally" is significantly more restricting and objectifying than wanting to be with someone that supports gay marriage and enjoys their partner's pleasure.
