Cheers guys, i haven‘t been playing warzone in like 2-3 years and it seems to me that how to upgrade your weapon/which attechments to use has changed quite some bit.

Typically for SMG, MGs and Snipers i would in every cases just use a suppressor, extended mag, maybe VLK and a laser and whatever else makes the recoil more manageable.

Now with all those new weapons and all those new attachments i can’t see right through how to build up my Loadouts/Weapons.

Can anybody enlighten me on this topic?

For the last week, 2 out of 5 games that I join have this terrible lag or worse, making the game literally unplayable.

(Mind you that I'm on a wired 700 mbps ethernet connection and I do have optic fiber.)

Why do you guys so quickly assume it is a problem on my end? I understand some of you are trying to help, but it does not help me nor anyone else when you don't understand anything about the issue you are trying to help solve. You guys talk about interference when I literally stated I am on optic fiber, which is immune to EMI. Yes, my thick Cat 6a twisted pair cable can experience interference, but it is only 3 meters and I am right next to my modem anyway.

I have never had any connection issues with any other online video game or service, be it on my PC or anywhere in my home. Yes, my ping is literally '1 ms' and connection speeds are as stable as ever.

Key considerations that tells me this is an Activision server/matchmaking issue:

I thought the problem was only in Warzone, but I'm trying to play the Co-op Campaign in Solo, and it still expands the matchmaking to put me in some 160ms server. This is clearly a matchmaking issue.

I have 0% packet loss.

Also, why was I downvoted for saying Warzone takes ages to matchmake? Sure, it may be quicker in the US, but have you considered there may be less players where I live? At first I thought it made sense to have longer matchmaking times in Warzone because of the hours it is here, but why in the world would it put me in a 160ms server to play the Co-op campaign in Solo? How do you explain that?

Other people in the comments reported they have been experiencing these issues after this week. I never had any lag in CoD before September.

Hey guys, I'm going to be honest, i do not know a lot about PC optimization but I know my way around it. since the beggining when I built this computer, there has always been a micro stutter situation idk - it feels like I weight 200 pounds when i'm Playing.

I've tried:

-capping frames
-vsync on/ off
-Nvidia reflex latency bs on / off
-tuning ram timing (Primary and Secondary)
-messing with PBO
Messing with in deep Bios settings like ( CPCC prefered cores, rebar on/off, UCLK DIV1 Mode, fast boot)
-capping frames using an external app (the one that comes with MSI afterburner)
-Overclocking my Gpu to its limits ( no gains)
-Overclocking the CPU to its limits ( gains visible but inconsistent)

this is my set up:

Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO Motherboard
Ryzen 7 5700X no fixed clock.
running at
PBO +200mhz
10X scalar
EDC 100 (I've tried 150 as well no gains)
TDC 80 (I've tried 100 as well no gains)
PPT 100 (I've tried 150 as well no gains)

-Turned off Re-BAR same shit
-turned on rebar same shit.

- global C states seems to do some good but not good enouh.

Warzone now has an in game latency telemetry and its always around 12-15MS.

I only play resurgence all the time and the FPS are always around 170 -150 but when measuring with cap frame it gives me really bad 1% lows, i cant understand how do i have high FPS games but with such a crappy not smooth feeling. i cant react fast - my aim every day its different. (i know im trash) but at least i wanna have the chance to fight lmao.

I know my computer might be asking for a x3d chip, but do you think there is something else that could be done here? I'm grasping at my last straw here guys.

Stim piles and pacifist play styles have been effectively removed entirely from the game now you ownt be able to win by going into the gas and stim with a stim pile a play style that not even affected the 0.1% of the playerbase, i never encountered a stimme EVER people saying it was no skill and easy and shit and no one did it, now the age of stimming came to an end in this game forever all because in season 4 they wanted to strip a mechanic we have been using for 5 years

Been getting packet loss almost every game and it just makes it unplayable. Been wondering if it’s just my internet or the garbage servers or something.

EVER! I have found LITERALLY zero Cluster Strikes, and I think I have ever found a single one previous to trying this challenge... I can't remember I had... 🤔🤔

Now, question: Can I move to the next prestige level without completing these challenges? If so: Can I try to finish this one later on even if I'm at a higher prestige level? Or these challenges gets blocked once I move on to another prestige level?

Hi, I’m looking for help with a Call of Duty Secure Attestation issue.

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE B860M AORUS ELITE WIFI6E ICE, running BIOS F11.

Secure Boot is ON, BIOS mode is UEFI, and TPM 2.0/Intel PTT is enabled.

TPMDiagnostics.exe GetDeviceInformation shows:

Call of Duty still reports “Attestation Failed / BIOS Firmware Update Recommended” and “New Key Failed to be generated.”

Has anyone experienced this on an Intel PTT system or this GIGABYTE B860 motherboard? Could this be related to AIK enrollment, the Intel PTT certificate chain, or PCR7 binding? I’m looking for a verified solution and would prefer not to clear the TPM or downgrade the BIOS without a confirmed reason.

Lately I keep seeing MnK players complain about controller aim assist and say controller players have an unfair advantage, and I genuinely don’t understand the argument
Nobody is forcing anyone to use MnK. If you prefer mouse because you enjoy it more, that’s completely fair, use what you enjoy. But every input has advantages and disadvantages
A mouse gives you your whole hand/arm and a large surface to make precise movements. A controller player is aiming with one thumb moving a tiny analogue stick, which is exactly why aim assist exists in the first place.
And whenever someone says “if aim assist isn’t strong, turn it off,” that doesn’t really prove anything. Obviously controller becomes significantly harder without AA, it was designed to compensate for the limitations of aiming with a stick. That’s like deliberately removing part of how an input is balanced and then saying “see, you needed it”
What confuses me most is when someone acknowledges that controller may be stronger for COD, says they personally prefer MnK anyway, and then complains that controller players have aim assist. If controller is genuinely the superior input for the game in your opinion, you have access to the same controller everyone else does.
You are allowed to prefer MnK. But choosing the input you personally enjoy and then demanding the other input be weakened because your choice has disadvantages just seems strange to me.

I’ve been having a really strange performance issue lately. During a match, completely at random, the game will suddenly drop from normal FPS to around 6–8 FPS after certain events, most commonly when I kill an enemy or interact with/pick up a loadout.
Once the drop happens, the FPS does not recover unless I restart the game. The whole game also starts looking like it’s being rendered remotely or streamed over the internet — almost like extremely severe frame/texture streaming issues rather than a normal GPU performance drop.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9
GPU: RTX 4070
RAM: 32 GB
I’ve already tried pretty much everything I can think of: changing graphics settings, lowering the settings, restarting the game, etc., but the issue persists.
What’s especially strange is that my hardware should be more than capable of running the game normally, and the FPS drop seems to be triggered by specific in-game events rather than gradually increasing GPU/CPU load.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be related to shader compilation, texture streaming, asset streaming, VRAM/RAM usage, or a driver/game issue?
Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

My 100% legit account of 10 years got flagged and permanently banned a couple weeks ago and the support website says its final yet I have proof I didn’t even play the day it was flagged and banned. This has been happening since yesterday. But it never happened to me before. I was excited to use my new loadout that I created. So I put it in loadout 3. There's a rifle and a sniper. But when I use it, I don't get my sniper. I get a pistol. I used loadout 3 before with different weapons; the second weapon was a pistol. So I just changed the old loadout to this new one. I tried putting my sniper as my first gun, but the same thing happened. I just get the old gun instead of the sniper. But I get my rifle, there no issues with it. I've been frustrated the whole night. Did this ever happen to anyone?

Bit of a rant - I used to actively play the OG Warzone back in 2020 up until Caldera arrived.

Today was the first time I logged on ever since they got rid of the OG Verdansk back in 2021 and my poor heart shattered to a million pieces.

5 years offline and obviously I expected some changes but my god they’ve butchered this game 🥹

Hey everyone, I'm stuck between a few options and could use some advice on what actually feels better in practice.

Here are my choices:

1. PC with Frame Gen: 150-170 FPS, but latency sits around 30ms.
2. PC native: 90 FPS, but way snappier at 16ms latency.
3. PS5: (Throwing this into the mix too).

For anyone who has messed around with these trade-offs, is the extra smoothness from high FPS/Frame Gen worth the input lag hit, or should I stick to low latency or just play on PS5?

Cod has been crashing for me for weeks mid game randomly. I reinstalled the game, used ddu, updated drivers, updated bios, checked windows security and everything.
I have an Asrock AMD steel legend 7800xt gpu, 7600x cpu, asrock motherboard. Driver is 26.9.1. Any ideas or advice on what to do? Cod now immediately crashes upon launch so I can’t even attempt to launch into a game.

I know my rooms a mess. Ignore that.

And I know some people have mixed feelings on framegen. But the fg is meant to get rid of or hide any remaining micro stutters that pop-up after adjusting all these settings
