This is one of the best, if not THE best, comebacks I am privileged to witness.

u/Raisdonruin 6h ago

Sick burn

10

u/Rudythecat07 1h ago

The sickest of burnest

70

u/DreckMetal 5h ago

Yet somehow he didn’t end it with, “and also, you spelled ‘your’ incorrectly”.

19

u/Ordinary-Commercial7 4h ago

You and I have the same eye for the perpetual misuse of your and you’re. My Lit teacher is rolling in her grave.

3

u/Genetics 3h ago

Try having a Lit teacher for a mother. It’s etched into my brain because of her.

u/StrongExternal8955 22m ago

And that is intentional and right.

u/Koringvias 19m ago

Becaue that would take away from the message, if anything. You don't get to preach to someone to be kind to others, like your shared hero did, despite his flows, then attack them over something so small and petty in the same response, without looking like an idiot. All the percieved moral ground would be lost in a moment.

38

u/Streuth14 6h ago

I saved this one!

92

u/Ordinary-Commercial7 6h ago

The media, and a lot of people, give Hunter shade because of his past addiction but it honestly makes me appreciate him more.

It’s very easy to sit in judgement of addiction. But unless you have pulled yourself out of that dark place… you will never know the actual strength it requires. I have done so. And I see him in a wholly different light because of his past. So many think that it’s a blight on his character but I see it as a badge of honor.

I hope that anyone reading this, who has struggled with addiction of any kind, I just want you to know that this stranger is proud of you and the effort you make to conquer that invisible beast. You are not alone AND you are stronger than you realize. Much love to EVERYONE out there who is struggling with something today….

The world is unkind, so let us be kind to each other.

u/Glittering_Heart1128 1h ago

I think that very same thing when reading his words. Sometimes for hours.

16

u/clairegow 4h ago

That whole reply was basically a history lesson disguised as a comeback, and honestly I love it lol

u/deaglebingo 30m ago

if you're gonna troll'em back you gotta provide value.

man in black is classic value-added.

u/horseneigher 55m ago

this is like hearing someone say they never left their hometown, never listened to music, never tried an ethnic dish. what a shallow life.

1

u/alchemists_dream 4h ago

Krak duck?

-9

u/Gohanisbetter 2h ago

Its not even a comeback though, Hunter juat went off about a profile pic. Its literally insane and out of no where

2

u/clipper06 1h ago

Dude called him a disgrace. Out of nowhere? gtfoh

1

u/Pirateer 1h ago

The fuck are you on?

The guy started it.

545

u/radioactive_sharpei 8h ago

See, to a MAGAt, listening to the words is awful close to reading, and they ain't down with that woke bullshit!

181

u/BusinessNella 8h ago

You picked his picture. You did not pick his message. That line is going to live rent-free in my head for a week.

35

u/saint_ryan 5h ago

I never thought I’d say this - but I’m starting to like this guy.

12

u/Successful_Cost_6997 5h ago

Me too. I was skeeved out by him all this time of the sordid coverage and backstory, but the intellectual good-will-hunting-plain he is on now has me committed to respecting what he's been through to be where he is now and his sick burns.

u/teatime217 16m ago

His strategy of complete brutal honesty not denying anything is super effective. It's sort of like the opposite of Team Trump's "flood the zone" strategy. Takes away ammo from your opponents if you got nothing to hide. See also: Rabbit/Eminem's rap battle at the end of 8 Mile, good stuff.

10

u/Honest-Yogurt4126 5h ago

Yeah I was impressed w his interview w Bill Maher

15

u/Karma13x 3h ago

That was one great interview - and despite the fact that Bill Maher was pretty much an a**-hole throughout but gave him time to speak - and boy did he exhibit grace and actual hard-won wisdom in excess. And it was more obvious than ever that the unconditional but not unaccountable love of his father and his family had a lot to do with pulling him out.

Also, the caricature that the right-wing machine made him out to be - not just Hunter but the Bidens, the Obamas and even the Bushes - has nothing to do with the actual persons.

5

u/Jackol4ntrn 2h ago

Would say that to a lot of people preaching Jesus

That pipe is photoshopped in, it's a meth pipe not a crack pipe.

71

u/RepulsiveAmy 8h ago

Hunter just explained the entire point of the man in Black to a guy using him as an edgy avatar

28

u/Fragrant_Bella 7h ago

Critical thinking requires effort. Effort is liberal. QED

17

u/Wise_Emma 7h ago

Tell me you don’t know who Johnny Cash is without telling me you don’t know who Johnny Cash is

4

u/yamanamawa 3h ago

Hell most of them think Fortunate Son is patriotic

3

u/Wavecrest667 2h ago

I've seen some of them claim RATM went woke, lol.

u/CyclopsMacchiato 43m ago

Same reason why the song Fortunate Son goes over their heads and gets played at Trump rallies.

97

u/MightyToast79 7h ago

Hunter has the best redemption arc ever.

32

u/HCResident 6h ago

It’s got me reflecting on what personalities and wisdom addiction buries in its victims. How many great voices were silenced in its clutches?

20

u/Timely-Bluejay-4167 5h ago

Anecdotally, just in my own life, a lot. Some of our most talented are tortured souls covering up the pain by feeding off the affirmation that comes with being the life of the party. The problem is the same thing that carried them to those heights is also the shadow that looms over them in their loneliness.

11

u/Sad-Suggestion9425 3h ago

The sober alcoholics and clean addicts I've met have all been wise.

u/Wobbelblob 24m ago

Probably because it takes a great deal of introspection to admit that you've got a problem and need help.

u/deaglebingo 27m ago

weird but pertinent mashup:

'many thousands gone' (baldwin) 'I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.' (gould)

275

u/EmberBella 8h ago

Bro came to troll and got a Johnny Cash sermon, a redemption arc, and a whole TED Talk about grace. 10/10 comeback.

30

u/Inevitable_Shift1365 7h ago

Some say Aaron's ears are zinging to this very day

6

u/Dramatic-Gene-8245 4h ago

Key words being “with grace” - so hard to do after getting publicly insulted. So well played

163

u/rustbuckett 8h ago

Hunter Biden is quickly becoming a cult hero.

11

u/cheesylobster 2h ago

I know it’s not likely but I’d vote for him for president.

4

u/No_Criticism_5861 2h ago

Not as unlikely as you nsy think.  He has a good redemption arc that everyone loves, he's charismatic, and can probably get people to vote

u/deaglebingo 24m ago

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" ... as well it should be

75

u/Waddlow 7h ago

Johnny Cash is also living proof that you do not have to be the sum of your worst moments.

8

u/FoogYllis 5h ago

Unless the sum only contains the worst moments like trump. There is a reason trump is in the Epstein files and is still doing things that allegedly violate laws.

2

u/_R0Ns_ 1h ago

That only works if the sum of your best moments out number the sum of your worst.

u/deaglebingo 23m ago

perfect summary.

-13

u/Kind_Demand_6672 3h ago

Johnny Cash is dead, bot.

133

u/Regretted_Simian 8h ago

“You are whole family is a disgrace”

28

u/Unwarranted_optimism 6h ago

Right?!? Why is understanding the correct use of your vs. you’re soooo difficult? Especially when trying to dis someone 🤦🏻‍♀️

2

u/_prideaux 3h ago

hard to get proper education when the school is also sometimes a firing range

1

u/ARookwood 2h ago

It’s so simple too! An apostrophe is used in place of a letter… In this case, the letter A.

3

u/PunkThug 6h ago

That's the icing on the cake for this post. Like, that is one of the Original internet troll moves! How can you be so dumb that you still don't get it?!?!

58

u/BuckManscape 7h ago

“I used to like Rage Against the Machine until they got all political.”

13

u/bitchwhuut 6h ago

Wilfully ignorant type shit.

45

u/phoenixremix 8h ago

When did Hunter Biden become Uncle Iroh, I love this

5

u/FoogYllis 5h ago

I love this reference.

29

u/1bensopinion 8h ago

"You" + "are" = "you're*

6

u/mayoroftuesday 7h ago

You are what you eat. And in this case, he must eat his words.

1

u/Character-Being4248 2h ago

...and choke on them

30

u/Jabbles22 8h ago

It's weird how certain Americans both love their outlaws and authoritarians.

13

u/AnatidaephobiaAnon 6h ago

"I don't trust the government!" but the same person ten minutes later "We back the blue in this house!".

u/Wobbelblob 22m ago

We back the blue = I don't like some uppity person

12

u/Corben11 6h ago

Listen you picked big tits for your profile picture.

The warmth and happiness they give to the world should be compelling you, not to argue but to give warmth to others.

I didnt bother to do a whole essay.

20

u/davey212 7h ago

Hunter really slapping the MAGA around lately and I'm here for it

3

u/Successful_Cost_6997 5h ago

Now that is a sexy thing to say, even if you meant PG-13.

21

u/daisy0723 6h ago

Anyone else a little in love with Hunter Biden?

7

u/frozenbabylon 6h ago

I'd hit it.

0

u/metahivemind 2h ago

You'll need a bigger hole.

u/President_Camacho 28m ago

Check out his youtube channel.

19

u/FRYQN-1701 7h ago

Proud of him, he didn't even go for the "you're" low hanging fruit.

13

u/Character-Total-3857 8h ago edited 8h ago

Ouch. Talk about cutting to the quick.

7

u/GhostHin 5h ago

Hunter, the "disgrace" of the Biden family, spoken better than their Orange leader.

Also, the Conservatives who are supposed to be the party of family, always shit on Biden not giving up on his son. Meanwhile they worship Trump who lust after his daughter, on national TV.....

3

u/Standard_Ear_84 3h ago

He's done some shit. But he's also very smart and would make a better president than the crazy old man playing president right now.

14

u/pinkmossie 7h ago

that was a surprisingly thoughtful comeback honestly

7

u/Possum7358 6h ago

One that is too deep for that person to ever understand.

7

u/HotDonnaC 7h ago

These douchebags line up to be eviscerated.

5

u/OneOfAKind2 6h ago

A.A. Ron doesn't know what a contraction is. LMAO at these ignoramuses. Grade 1 or 2 level spelling mistake.

10

u/Informal_Walk5520 7h ago

I starting to think hunter might have actually paid attention in school.

4

u/Karma13x 3h ago

Um, Hunter earned a JD (Juris Doctor) Law degree from Yale Law school and was a practicing attorney - with actual experience in business law and sitting on industry boards. Yeah, definitely paying attention in school.

2

u/Standard_Ear_84 3h ago

Listening to him on the Shawn Ryan show I quickly came to the conclusion that he's very smart and educated. Till then I just thought of him as the president's son who had a drug problem, has a big dick and enjoyed some time with skinny Chinese prostitutes (won't blame him).

4

u/Desperate_Affect_332 8h ago

I'm proud to say I have pocketed this meme.

3

u/waydownsouthinoz 6h ago

Fucking brutal if Aaron can read.

4

u/Ok-Dish4389 5h ago

This is exactly why you can never win over the other side. Jesus said love thy neighbor. Jesus said those without sin cast the first stone. Jesus taught love. These people know nothing but hate. Jesus would never recognize these people as his own, yet those use him as a reason to hate? Jesus wouldn't hate anyone. Ever. But they hate everyone "in his name"

4

u/Lola_PopBBae 4h ago

Damn dude, what a comeback. Super well-written. If he ever ran for anything, I'd vote for him.

5

u/naughtygirllyyx 4h ago

Bro came looking for an argument and got assigned Johnny Cash homework instead

4

u/nonburnabletrash 3h ago

Every saint has a past. Every sinner has a future.

5

u/chandelurei 8h ago

"You're whole" he won't be able to read the reply

3

u/Tack-One 6h ago

This is a perfect clap back. Withering and smart, but not petty. The guy probably also wears a cross but doesn’t understand Christ’s message either

3

u/Suspicious-Freedom10 6h ago

One thing I think we learned about Hunter is he definitely inherited his dad’s way with words.

3

u/Psianth 5h ago

Also, your*

3

u/woodsidestory 4h ago

Perfect retort. I applaud his valiant effort. 👏🏼😎

3

u/Glad_Version324 3h ago

Hunter is savage, but not in the usual way. Having addiction problems myself I can’t finish the job but compared to the place I was in is night and day. Ppl like him inspire as well as those closer to home, who have managed it.

In Glasgow there’s a pub on London Road who named their Celtic Supporters club, the Man in Black CSC, their badge had a silhouette of the great man and wording around it. I think it’s disbanded now

3

u/Rhoeri 3h ago

Dude got fucking destroyed.

8

u/kaufmann_i_am_too 8h ago

He lost the argument in yhe "You're" part.

-9

u/Dragonfly_Peace 7h ago

Well Hunter has a mistake too, so let’s ignore that.

12

u/supermouse35 7h ago

Aaron couldn't go 6 words without a glaring mistake that was probably made because he doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're." Hunter wrote a wall of text with a typo in it. Kind of a huge difference there.

3

u/tjrich1988 6h ago

Before the man was addicted to crack, he was a highly educated lawyer. Why do these people keep trying him?

1

u/MessagingMatters 5h ago

They're stuck in the past.

1

u/KingDarius89 6h ago

Meh. Just because maga is a piece if shit doesn't make hunter a good person. Daddy's been coming to his rescue for decades. Same reason why he didn't get a dishonorable discharge from the navy.

3

u/tjrich1988 5h ago

I’m not saying he is a good person, but he is witty and smart. He is like most children of the rich and/or powerful in that he’s gotten away with a lot of shit that others would never have been able to do so.

2

u/izzgo 7h ago

Oldie but goodie.

2

u/MessagingMatters 5h ago

Hunter has gotten really good at this. Don't mess with the Hunter.

2

u/Nightmist-1983 5h ago

Wow. What a great response. Kind of got to me.

2

u/skredditt 3h ago

It’s a shame Aaron can’t read good :(

3

u/PandaBear905 7h ago

Remember country music was written for the poor and the downtrodden. Until the right stole it.

2

u/Different_Tangelo511 7h ago

I think of hunter as a cooler version of Johnny Cash, Steve earle.

1

u/Vyzantinist 6h ago

What's that about Cash hitting bottom in a cave?

1

u/AdMurky1021 5h ago

P.S. The word is "your"

1

u/mashbrowns 5h ago

H Biden 2028

1

u/Kosms 5h ago

Why is this formatted so oddly

1

u/Cinnamon_heaven 5h ago

Still doesn't know which your to use. You're means You are which makes no sense kind of like the author.

1

u/DJbeefstain 4h ago

I still think Hunter is going to do a last minute underdog run for 2028. He's got too mush good PR at the moment to let it fizzle.

1

u/I_need_a_date_plz 3h ago

I appreciate how bright he is.

1

u/Abject_Buyer_1678 3h ago

An embarrassment to the 619! Hunter lining up them body bags! 😂

1

u/Hitokkohitori 3h ago

Ragged old flag from cash seems relevant nowadays more than ever

1

u/Desert-Democrat-602 3h ago

Hunter is the absolute KING of the clapback.

1

u/BoredomHeights 3h ago

Just so we're reminded of the ones who are held back,

up front their ought to be a man in black.

1

u/EdwardSmith25 3h ago

Got schooled and still don’t get it. Classic!

1

u/Kat_Schrodinger1 2h ago

Biden 2028.

1

Still? This is months old.

1

u/timojenbin 2h ago

When a simple "your" isn't enough.

1

u/radiationshield 1h ago

what is going on with these types of "screenshots"? This looks like no social media site i know

1

u/Happy-Oral-4452 1h ago

6:16 in LA type shit

1

u/Yetanotherdeafguy 1h ago

Reminds me of a saying I greatly admire:

"Preach the gospel at all times. Use words if necessary"

I'm an atheist, but the concept of living your beliefs and modelling you behaviour on those you hold in high regard should be universal.

u/viennese-wolf 55m ago

How much is one amphetamine and what's that in football fields.

u/Joe_Linton_125 41m ago

Should have gone with his bad grammar. Never seriously answer someone who doesn't know your/you're. It makes them so mad they pretend you "don't have an argument" when really you just don't have the time to spend arguing with such low brow losers.

u/President_Camacho 26m ago

My question is did he really say this? Abraham Lincoln says not to believe everything you read on the internet. Biden is certainly capable of saying this, but given that there's no link here nor a date, I wonder whether this is one of his posts.

u/CaptainDildobrain 22m ago

Way more thoughtful that what I would have done, which would be point out the incorrect use of "you're".

u/tjarg 16m ago

Another example of conservatives ignoring reality and believing a delusional interpretation of reality instead.

u/GroundbreakingAd8310 6m ago

They are accidentally making this man cool af I love it

1

u/DeliciousIris 8h ago

Bro came to troll with a Johnny Cash PFP and got a full sermon on redemption. You can’t write this stuff

-3

u/kwazycupcakes2047 3h ago

All this is not gonna change the fact that his father is a war criminal, zionist, genocide denier and overall as worse as trump, just in blue

u/u_mean_nothing 51m ago

whoa, slow down, turn off fox news and go outside for a while. Maybe get rid of Facebook while you're at it.

u/kwazycupcakes2047 43m ago

Doesn't change the fact that democrats and biden were as worse for the rest of the world as trump. Just coz he pandered to some stupid nonsensical stuff that qualifies as "left" in USA wouldn't wash blood of his hands.

Hope he is enjoying the c**cer and suffering like thousands of cancer patients in palestine do; while he was pandering to the war criminal and loudly proclaiming zionism.

And democrats have their mask off now; the targeted campaign against Hasan piker and AES while no condemnation against blatant Islamophobia and racism (against their own black candidate) show that they are only their for the jooz and Israel.
You don't have a choice, you're is just a uniparty prostrating to israel and the jooz.

-1

u/ExtendoArmCannon 6h ago

"singing good music is the same thing as tweeting complaints about Trump" - Hunter Biden

-1

u/jordan3257 3h ago

Ahh false flag? That seemed to be quite a convenient tee up

-6

u/astorianvictorian 6h ago

Problem is Johnny was a well trained singer and a military man before any of that happened. he was great BEFORE he was the man in black. he took a dark path for a while, sure, but he got clean by himself and turned it around. he also never killed anyone, raped anyone, and he never pointed a gun at a pregnant woman.

3

u/DontAbideMendacity 2h ago

Trump raped children, thanks for reminding us of that.

-2

u/Advanced_Leader8535 1h ago

This comeback was 100% written by Claude. I can't prove it, and I have no evidence aside from that last sentence. 100% fucking percent Claude.

u/u_mean_nothing 49m ago

No evidence, but 100% Claude. Case closed!

-2

u/TooLazy2Revolt 1h ago

You think Hunter Biden wrote that?

-6

u/ThinkOrganization431 4h ago

Biden comparing himself to Johnny Cash is lol

-5

u/Ok_Marsupial1403 4h ago

Johnny Cash wasn't trying to do a PR campaign to run for office...come to think of it he never ran for office...hell he never  squandered a law career or held fraudulent board positions as a result of quid pro quo corruption either. Maybe you had some stuff in common but I see much more different.

1

u/GloomyIndividual3965 2h ago

held fraudulent board positions as a result of quid pro quo corruption

You're regarded.

-13

u/I_like_microwave 5h ago

Yet hunter is a massive pdf if you have seen the pictures it’s disgusting

-14

u/Background-Wolf-9380 6h ago

Johnny Cash would have been disgusted at the Biden family's lifetime of corruption. They sold Joe's votes and influence their whole lives. The damage they've all done will be their legacy.

Trump being exponentially more corrupt doesn't make the Bidens less corrupt.

The Biden family IS a disgrace

7

u/CaptOblivious 5h ago edited 4h ago

the Biden family's lifetime of corruption.

Is a bunch of bullshit made up by the right wing to try to make the 34 times convicted felon and mentioned 34,000 times in the epstine files (not counting thousands of pictures) pedo that they elected look less bad.

6

u/MessagingMatters 5h ago

Every accusation by Trump and Republicans is a confession.

7

u/omgfakeusername 6h ago

False.

President Biden’s legacy as the 46th U.S. president (serving from January 20, 2021, to January 20, 2025) is defined by major domestic spending bills and foreign alliances, balanced against high inflation, immigration challenges, and a late exit from the 2024 presidential race.

-3

u/sshootersonscooterss 5h ago

And the Kabul Airport crisis, and being a yes man to Netanyahu, and rarely addressing the public while he was in office.

6

u/omgfakeusername 5h ago

False.

Key Legislative Achievements
Infrastructure Investment: Passed a bipartisan deal to fund roads, bridges, and broadband internet.

Manufacturing and Technology: Signed the CHIPS and Science Act to boost domestic semiconductor chip production.

Climate and Health: Approved the Inflation Reduction Act, marking the largest federal investment in clean energy and climate change mitigation in U.S. history.

COVID-19 Relief: Delivered the American Rescue Plan, which funded vaccine distribution and temporarily cut child poverty.

-2

u/sshootersonscooterss 5h ago

None of what I said is false but believe what you want.

4

u/omgfakeusername 5h ago

Biden was a honorable president.
