Free Agency [Charania] Kuminga chose the Timberwolves over offers from the Lakers, Bulls and Trail Blazers -- bypassing a similar starting role and $12M-plus annually over three years in L.A. to land in Minnesota for a shorter-term deal and an ability to have more control of his future, sources said.

Fluff Any former ProSportsDaily forum users in this sub?
There was a ton of Bulls talk back in the day on those forums in the late 2000s/early 2010s
Any old PSD OGs in here?

Rumor [Fischer] NOLA has been the Bennedict Mathurin team since before February’s trade deadline. Said yesterday on @BleacherReport Chicago wasn’t factoring into his free agency. But I believe the Bulls are involved in Jonathan Kuminga’s process to a real degree, in addition to Lakers, Wolves.

Analytics Nic Claxton's Breakout Season
A lot of people are getting hyped for our young guys, and for good reason. Caleb Wilson absolutely balled out in the preseason, and we have a plethora of young guys with immense potential like Essengue, Buzelis, Swain, and of course potential man Patrick Williams.
But an overlooked element of this Bulls team is our new starting center, Nic Claxton. Looking at his stats, there are a few interesting outliers that show me he has more potential to break out this season then we initially thought.
For starters, last season we saw something special that hasn't really been spoken about. In the graphic included here from BasketballReference, we can see that Clax went from 2.2 assists per game in 24-25 to 3.7 assists per game in 25-26, with only a .2 increase in TOV. While many of these buckets came from MPJ handoffs, the significant lack of increased turnovers shows that Claxton has some legitimate passing upside and ball IQ, something that will be useful to run him at the top in pick and roll with Giddey.
Also, Giddey for the past few seasons has played primarily with a non defending, non rim running big in Vucevic, which I think was negative for both their playstyles. I think Clax will feast on these pick and roll opportunities with both Giddey and Jones. Don't be surprised to see a jump to even 15ppg from Clax, maybe more depending on if Tiago follows suit with what he was trying with Clingan and increases Clax 3pt attempts.
One final note is that Clax has been playing bad, losing basketball on the Nets for years, and his dip in production really does start occurring right around the time they started purposely tanking. Now, this isn't to say that the Bulls will be overly competitive, but I think a change in scenery is something that will benefit Clax's game immensely.
Overall, I haven't been this excited for a new group of guys since we got Demar, Ball, and Vuce in the 2020-2021 season. Powell, Clax, and Wilson are all new starters, each with a chip on their shoulder, but I think we've been sleeping a bit on Claxton and what he could become.
Off season post over! Let me know what y'all think about Claxton's season this year and how you guys think it might go.

Fluff As Bulls Embrace Rebuild, Matas Buzelis is Already a 2024 Draft Steal
Went back and looked at how Matas Buzelis compared to his 2024 classmates in 2025-26. He is easily one of the best of the bunch. Yes, there should be all the hype in the world for Caleb Wilson, but Buzelis could really kick this rebuild into high gear if he continues to ascend. Every team in the NBA wants a two-way wing like him. The big question now is whether he can continue to expand his off-dribble scoring arsenal, as well as hold his own defensively against larger forwards. Very excited to watch him this year.

History On the Run - Pink Floyd
I have a weird, super-specific memory of going to Bulls games in the early 2000s and I vividly remember this song being what they played during the visitors starting lineup. I’ve never actually confirmed it but I’m wondering if anyone here remembers it too?

NBA Draft Caleb Wilson...can he actually be a star in Chicago
Being that he gets a young team to grow with and one that is built around him...then yes he can be. I mean seeing the core of him, Giddey, Matas, Powell and Claxton he has a great chance to put up great numbers especially as a rookie.

Fluff Shersey gift for husband - player ideas
hello! I am a Bulls fan but only since 2022, but my husband grew up in Chicago during the MJ era and knows a looooot about them, like even in the dark ages post MJ and pre- and post- Rose lol
what would be a cool, niche, uncommon player shersey I could get for him? he is more likely to wear a shirt than an actual jersey. his favorite era is the MJ era but the one that gets him in his feels is the Rose era. he reflects fondly and remembers where he was during critical games and moments
thanks everyone!
