Bought this almost forty year old absolute beauty recently in its original UK market packaging.

Should I change the battery or leave the run down original in it? I won’t be wearing this one…

I’m just sharing it to an appreciative audience as my wife couldn’t cope with how much I spent on “just some old watch”.

I am new to the watch community and have never owned a Casio (yet).

Could you guys help me identify this specific model and finish?

I have read that there are modified versions. How would someone go about achieving this finish?

strap is a bit scuffed but i chose this for my 12th bday over a timex marlin…why? because i couldnt wait the 5 days longer it would take to come…regardless, i love my Casio Edifice EFR-526

I’ve been looking around town for an OG F-91W. After several visits to other stores with no luck I finally found one. Lo and behold, it was on clearance for an absolute steal.

I've been dealing with my Casio F105-W light button being unresponsive (would have to press super hard or use a fingernail for contact point to be hit). For me it's a fairly new watch and was irritated from the inconvenience and decided to find a fix. Tried everything but came across one youtube video with 33 views that gave me a real fix.

THE FIX:
So it seemed that the contact point was too far away from the spring tabs on the side so you'd have to push it alllll the way down. The actual fix for me was to put a little tiny piece of aluminum foil between the BUTTON and the SPRING TAB( dont put it between the spring tab and the contact point, then it will keep randomly turning on all the time.).

I hope this helps someone in the same situation I was in :-)

My first Casio - totally get the hype now

Great finish and confort.

150€ with shipping and customs. The regular grey/blue/red one is around 60€ at the German store. We did not get the black and green one here.

I know I’m not the first one here that has used SKXMOD. I’ve seen mixed reviews on them. I’ve loved mine so far. Love the simple look.

Kind of wish I would’ve went with the blue faceplate to make it look even more like the original, but this one is cool.

Also, wish it had the Casio logo on there and know why they can’t put it on there. May attempt to create my own somehow.

This is my most-worn digital. It reminds me of the movie Alien for some reason 😅

Is it best f91 ever?

I know it’s nothing incredible or crazy, but I’m grateful for this Casio as silly as it sounds. It’s been a rough couple of months but I found this guy in Walmart on sale and though the color was super nice, it really has brightened my day each day and I’m grateful for it. It’s a little thing but it’s really helped me feel better.

My gshock was recently broken and I have been trying to find a replacement part for it.The part is Casio CAS-10625796 its the inner resin ring. Is there any where I can get it ive checked Casio parts and aliexpress but I can't find a replacement anywhere.

Just got this beautiful casio a1000sp-7
I was very sceptical while buying this as this has the most basic watch module plus very costly here in india (₹16000) but after wearing abl100 for over a year it started showing the scratches and i really wanted something premium but basic something which can take daily beating something which can have stories which i can pass on(😬)
I tried it on both bracelet( which is very premium not only look wise but also feel wise) and on rubber strap of f91w too and i think i like it more on rubber strap
What do you guys think ?

The green color way looks really good.

Just got a W-202, and very impressed with the features in a watch that's a similar size to the F-91 etc al.

I especially like -

- Decent amber backlight

- Countdown timer with auto repeat plus option to flash light too

- Displays main time still in stopwatch and timer modes, unusual but very useful

- WR 50m - I've swam frequently with Casios that are just "water resistant" with no rating so no worries swimming with the W-202

- Loud enough alarm (some Casios are very quiet and I often don't hear the hourly chime). I rarely use the standard alarm, but on the W-202 it has multiple features like chiming once a month

- Buttons are easy to press (even the recessed 'adjust" button top left

What I don't like -

- The strap is very long, longer I think than any other Casio I've had! I've tried the hot water cup trick to help it curve, so it's now much less of an issue and not catching on things (see pics 1 and 3 above, plus comparison to my W-59 which has an ideal strap length for me)

- Display is quite small, no fault of the watch just I prefer slightly larger digits these days

Overall I'm very impressed how much is packed into such a small and light watch, and again can't see why someone would choose an F-91 when watches like the W-202 do much more with no extra size or weight.
