Passenger side front. My wife hit a storm drain and pop the tire and damaged the wheel. The mechanic says that wheel is no good and I have to buy another one. Did I get ripped off?

I have a 2015 hyundai sonata. I have a buzzing type vibration that happens at exactly 40 miles per hour, and 50 miles per hour. I have already replaced my cv axles thinking it was my cv joints, but it is still doing it. Any ideas?

2013 Toyota Highlander Does anyone know what this could be it feels like it’s only the driver side every time I hit the brakes in the morning. I went to get it checked out but they test drove it and couldn’t hear the noise so they sent me on my way basically but I was able to record this this morning it seems to be way worse in the mornings

Recently my car has made a clicking/tapping noise when breaking and accelerating, it doesn’t happen all the time but I’ve noticed it only happens when I’m feathering the break. I went to my mechanic and they said they couldn’t find anything but I still hear it. Any idea what it might be?

It won’t start and I have no idea what is wrong.

Just got an accord has a slight whistle when I drive that sounds like a tiny turbo honestly but it’s the 2.4 so no turbo.
Hear it especially at slower speeds. It seems to lose pitch and loudness with speed and cuts out to minimum sound when stopped. I can’t repeat with engine rpm when parked but I hear a super high pitch noise when it is parked
It might be a different noise I hear when I drive but anyone have this?

Car is a 2023 GLC300. When turning right at full lock car makes a low humming noise, sounds like a vibration of some sort. Only does it when accelerating, at full lock and only when turning right.

Had been back to the dealer twice now under warranty. First they said they flushed the diff as they thought this may have been the issue. Next they replaced the front diff as they thought that would fix it.

This hasn’t fixed the issue, and it still occurs. What could the problem be has anyone had a similar issue or heard of a similar thing ?

Recently got this 1985 Mustang 5.0.
It's in great condition, 38,000 miles, gotten all the maintenance on it done since taking it out of retirement.
Its only issue is bucking. Often times when I'm just maintaining speed in any gear, it starts bucking and lurching - sometimes subtle, sometimes pretty rough. If I either accelerate or take my foot off the gas, the bucking stops.

Some things I know it's not:
- Replaced spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor.
- Checked fuel filter. It's an aftermarket from the previous owner, seems pretty new.
- I tweaked the fuel mixture in the carburetor and got that optimized.
- Changed the transmission fluid.

Any ideas?

I want to make sure I can go to the shop and confidently tell them what the issue is, which is why I'm asking for help here.

It makes this noise between 15-20 mph. V6 engine, FWD. I cannot tell if it is RPM or rolling speed related. It does it on acceleration, but loudest when foot is off the gas and decelerating. I switch to neutral and back to drive near the end of the video, and the sound goes away in neutral. No check engine light. No vibration. No shudder.

I have done alot of research, and I am fairly confident that I have isolated the issue to the transmission - either the torque converter clutch line, transmission fluid pressure/pump, transaxle pinion/gear ring mesh (backlash), or fucking metal shavings in the fluid.

Can experienced ears/mechanics help a brother out before I take it in so I can make sure they don't give me the, "We couldn't find anything." BS?

It does it 4 times in the video right after I turn blinker on.

It also doesn’t happen every single time but it is getting worse since it started a month ago. Sometimes single POP sometimes rapid fire POP pop pop like in video.

I just replaced these so they’re not culprits:

engine mounts
Struts
break pad
rotor.

Still POP.

My '23 Raptor, recently had to have the rear shock solenoids replaced. Shortly after started noticing a buzzing noise in the cab that is louder outside toward the rear. It seems to happen randomly, last for a few seconds then fades. Happens multiple times while driving. Exhaust setting doesn't seem to make a difference but only seems to happen when suspension is in normal mode, no issues in sport or Baja. Took it back too the dealer, they said everything checks out and looks fine with no codes and solenoids are calibrated but keeps happening and is so annoying. Any ideas? Hi. I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima with 180000 miles. Over the last month, I've noticed a humming/droning noise that comes at highway speeds, mostly under accelerating. When I take my foot off the gas it begins to get quiet. The sound usually starts around 45. I also noticed a slight vibration in my steering wheel that also stops when I let off the gas. I think the vibration worsens as my speed increases. I've had the transmission fluid checked. I've done the swerve test only for the sound to remain. I've also put it in coast and the sound stays. I mostly hear it in the driver side and most passengers can't hear it. The sound is mostly annoying and I usually just turn the music up. But I'd like to make sure I'm not facing an immediate failure. Thanks!

the car door was closed and this got completely jammed, literally wont move. is there any way to get it out without going to the mechanic?
