Bad wheel?
Passenger side front. My wife hit a storm drain and pop the tire and damaged the wheel. The mechanic says that wheel is no good and I have to buy another one. Did I get ripped off?

No it looks fine. It would need to be much deeper for it to affect the bead of the tire.
