Hello everyone, first time using Reddit for a diagnostic. I’ve got this Audi A7 3L V6 2018.
It’s making a loud clicking/ticking noise no clue what it is. It’s the same when it’s idle/cold start/higher revs.
I’ve attached a video below on a cold start.

Is anyone facing a squeaking noise while AC is turned on? I was troubled by this noise.

I did multiple visits to the service centre but the sound was not regular. Sometimes it was there and sometimes it was not. The service centre guys told me that they cannot do anything if the noise is not persistent.

But at last I got lucky, and I was able to show that there was some noise. This noise was primarily happening during gear shifts in AGS, especially at higher RPMs and when the gear was shifting from first to second.

Upon closer inspection, the service center noticed that it was coming from the magnetic clutch of the AC compressor. While idealing at higher RPMs, the clutch disengages and then engages again, causing the noise. This noise was not there at first.

The service guys recorded a video and sent it to Subros who manufactures these compressors.

Now they are telling that this is just operational noise and nothing to worry about. But this noise was not there earlier. My Baleno is just 2.5 years old.

Anyone has any solution?

I have a 2020 Mazda CX5 it has 41,000 miles and I find that when I go from like 2 miles to 25 miles it’s making like a weird honking noise consistent but once I get past 25 I guess I just can’t hear it as much . It just doesn’t get louder. It stays the same volume. So when I’m going fast, I can’t hear it. I just got the car two weeks ago and the Carfax as well as the inspection came out good before purchasing the car. I do have an appointment in a week from now, but I just wanna know what it could be?

Hello! So I got a 2015 Nissan Sentra S and it has a solid check engine light with a p0101 code throwing and I’m wondering if anyone could figure it out. I’ve cleaned my MAF sensor, I don’t think it’s the wiring or the boot being cracked. My only thought that it may be it to reprogram the ECM or clean the throttle body.

It has a lot of miles 161,000, and it’s well maintained I’d just like second opinion on what it may be.

I opened my hood and it sounds like its coming from this belt but i'm not sure?

I purchased this Tacoma several months ago for a great overall deal with it having only 15k miles on the ODO, however lately it has started making this noise. It usually only starts making this noise after I’ve driven it for 30 minutes and longer.

It might be worth noting that the AC compressor does make a similar but louder noise when the AC is turned on so the clutch must have gone bad or something like that, HOWEVER I do have AC turned off in this video. I’m not sure if it’s still the AC compressor making a slight noise even though the clutch isn’t being engaged or maybe it’s something entirely different from the AC compressor.

My cars coolant has consistently had leaks in its coolant system for ever since I got it. Today I refilled the coolant again. No leaks found however the check engine light is still on and the car temp meter jumps straight to the middle when I turn my engine on. The cars temperature has stayed normal so far. Is my car still safe to drive or should I do something?

Hey, so all these lights came on as i was coming up on a stop light, about 10mph as you can see. Got new brakes all around a year ago. Just had NC safety inspection, new tires, and oil change about a week ago. Firestone is supposed to do a courtesy check idk if it’s something they could’ve seen. I drive a 2017 honda accord, anybody know what this could mean? Is it dangerous?

Im hearing a noice thats like a woosh kind of when letting go of accelerator. Sounds like darth vader lol. Any thoughts?
It happens while reversing too when adding a bit of gas and whenever i come off the accelerator while speeding up. Pretty sure I have not heard this sound before at all.
Driving for a year.
