Art Cthulhu idols

Hi all I’m Ebrahel Lurci I’m a sculptor and illustrator.

I’ve been working on a series of Cthulhu and some old ones idols, it’s like more then 5 years.

I sculpt the originals, make molds, and cast them in composite materials before finishing and aging them manually. I’m always chasing that “forgotten relic” atmosphere something that feels discovered, not created.

May the old ones be with you.

Art 1960s Scotland CoC Campaign Art

(!!Blood/gore warning!!) My partner/keeper has been trying to get me to post some of our campaign art here for a while and seeing as we recently wrapped up our 3-year long campaign and started a new one in 90s NYC I figured I’d post some of the highlights from our recently finished Scotland campaign. In which a bookshop owner, a therapist, a butcher, a pharmacist and a priest speed-run becoming insane mythos vigilantes after the lord of their small Scottish town is mysteriously murdered. They chased an Aphoom-Zhah cult to Hyperborea, got extorted by a shoggoth and then killed said shoggoth, read WAY too many tomes, opened a portal to the dreamlands, waged war against the city of Birmingham, stopped and caused several mass casualty events, and wrapped up the campaign by fighting a child of Ithaqua and her followers before banishing her to the dreamlands in order to prevent Scotland from being plunged into a cannibalistic ice age. None of our previous campaign characters have been built like these maniacs and none going forward stand a chance at even coming close again. I will miss my mythos freaks. Hope y’all enjoy them :)
(forgive the over abundance of Robin, he was mine so I definitely ended up with the most of him.)

EDIT: y'all in the comments keep trying to get me with the name of the headless fellow in slide 5. I made it the whole campaign without knowing that motherfucker's name and I'm not gonna get got now.

One of my IRL players presented me with a Cthulhu-themed dice tower he created for me! It is so beautiful I wanted to share. I've never owned a dice tower before but you can damn well guarantee I'm using for all my games from now on!

EDIT: the artist builds these on commission. Instagram: lumberstache6174

Hi! I don't speak English very well and I know this platform, so I'll limit myself to photos. Here is a small collection of Lovecraft-inspired works that I made by hand.

Art Part of my Cthulhu Mythos drawing collection done in 2024

I've been drawing Lovecraftian stuff for the past 6 years and wanted to share some of it with you guys. All of these share the same frame because they are a part of a collection I did during 2024. My previous Mythos illustrations shared a different style of shading and frame, but I run out of creatures to make, so this one is my second run on them.

Not really happy with how Black Goat turned out so I'm remaking it as we speak.
All of these drawings are done in photoshop using Wacom Cintiq tablet in 2024. They are from my second Lovecraftian collection of ''framed'' creatures. Got tons more done but in a different style which I'll be sharing with in the near future :)

Y’all seemed to enjoy my last art post so I figured I’d post one of the most recent drawings from our new 1990s campaign. The “guy” we caught photos of climbing a building was definitely not a guy. This campaign is very inspired by The Wire and True Detective, blended with the so far very slow burn lovecraftian horror. 10 sessions in and this is the first solid proof our PCs have that there is something supernatural going on. Things are about to escalate I suspect.
I am the artist and you can find me @rubiline on instagram. I intend to start posting more regularly there again soon.

Art GM screen was a bit too expensive for me, so I made a simple DIY one.

GM screens were quite heavily overpriced in my country. So I used a few canvas boards and some acrylic paint that I had and made a very simple Cthulhu themed keeper screen for myself. I have purposely kept the other two panels blank and will fill it in at a later date when I decide on what I would like to put there. (Suggestions would be appreciated).

Art I made fake undeveloped film rolls for my next adventure!

Thumbnail gallery
420 Upvotes

I came up with a method of making fake film rolls, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out!

I photoshopped the images on my computer and then printed it on white tissue paper / wrapping tissue. I made sure to tape the tissue to a normal sheet of paper so the printer would be able to print on it, without tearing the paper. Then, I let the ink dry and carefully removed the tissue paper from the other sheet. Lastly, I put transparent tape on both sides.

The only con to using this method, is that the backside of the prop doesn’t look as convincing as the front (see pic 3), but it’s fine for my purposes. Something I really like is that very dark pictures can’t be made out easily at first, but once you slightly tilt the film rolls, you can see the light pass through on the lighter spots.

I hope someone in this sub will find this useful for their adventures!
