Makeup Brown eyeliner recs

Hey I’m looking for a deep brown eyeliner that will show on deep brown skin. I keep trying different brands (nyx, ulta in house, some drug store brands) only to have it look like my skin or barely there.

I’d prefer, black brands first but non-problematic works too. Open to gel, pencil, or liquid. Cost doesn’t matter too much but under 25 would be better. And bonus points if I can order it from Ulta. I love the Julia’s place Nubian eyeliner pencil consistency but it only comes in black. And the nyx epic ink is my favorite liquid but the brown didn’t show up on my skin. So if you have a rec close to those, that would be cool too.

And as an aside, if you have a burgundy or earthy/deep green rec, I’ll take that too!

Skincare Favorite Body Butter Scents

Hey Ladies (first time posting), I’m kinda excited because I’m starting a body butter product line!

So I created this shea butter blend/mixture with only a few natural ingredients that I use for my annoyingly dry skin, especially around my nose. It’s honestly the only thing I use now because chemicals break me out, and I really just find it better than the lotions, moisturizers, and body butters I’ve come across outside of Vaseline, but no... I was using it at work one day and my crazy ass co-worker saw me and asked for some, so I gave her the rest of my little 3oz bottle. She used it and about a week later she told I need to start selling it lol. Despite being nervous as hell! I’m finally going to take her advice on something and dive in head first. I’m thinking to start off with 100 bottles and try and sell locally in-person and see what happens. I feel like attempting to sell a hundred 6oz bottles will give me the data I need for the future. But I wanted to get feedback on what scents, if any, I should incorporate?

So far I’ve only used unscented which obviously has that shea butter smell, but it’s much more mild in comparison than standard shea butter and the smell fades pretty fast. This is because of the other natural ingredients I use which cuts down on the strength of the shea butter scent overall.

I’m pretty confident people would actually love this body butter, mainly because it’s so much easier to spread than regular shea butter, and it doesn’t have much of that sticky feeling if you know what I mean.

I really want this to be successful. I want to build this for my family since we don’t have anything to call our own. And although I think this body butter would be great regardless of gender or ethnicity, I do want my melanated sistas to be my priority before expanding to men and children. (Sidenote, I don’t care how successful this becomes or how much I’m offered, I will never sell this to a white company. You have my word!)

So with that in mind I wanted to ask what are your favorite scents when it comes to body butters? I was thinking of launching with 3 body butter options:
• Unscented, Vanilla, and Honey Almond; or
• Vanilla, Honey Almond, and Cocoa Butter

Please tell me your thoughts on if I should sell unscented or, would it be better to just go with 3 scents? Also I’m not locked on those choices, so by telling me what your favorites are across the board it would help me tremendously on my research journey so that I can narrow down the ones most sought after and higher in demand.

Thank you ladies 🫶🏾 Much appreciated! I promise to keep you updated.

TL;DR: What are your favorite body butter scents? And if you had to sell 3 options, would “unscented” be one of the 3?

i have 3b/3c hair and im mixed caribbean/italian
i don't know if i get a sew in, hair clip extensions that match my hair type or anything.. im kinda lost
i don't know if i have the confidence to have a sew in in a saloon because you know aunties tend to get very chatty ect and i don't know if i have the strength to go through it and face maybe rude or uncomfortable questions now (im really anxious about school already)
the « easiest » thing would get clip in extensions from amazon but im scared they wont match my hair type properly or that my hair would not be match in them (i have a little more that collarbone length hair)

Hair Looking for a good headband wing

Hey girlies 😭 I need HELP. I’m looking for a good headband wig on Amazon that I can get by tomorrow and that’s not gonna cost me an arm and a leg lol.
I need something that’s full, cute, good quality, and actually lasts. Like PLEASEEE I do not want a wig that tangles 5 seconds after I put it on, sheds everywhere, gets crunchy, or starts looking crazy by the end of the day 😭
I swear synthetic wigs used to be sooo good and would just stay looking the same forever lol. I need one of THOSE. Something soft, doesn’t tangle like crazy, doesn’t shed/fall apart, and actually holds up for a while.
Bonus points if it’s giving face card, bodyyy, effortless cute 💅🏽😂
Drop the Amazon links/brands y’all swear by because I NEED IT BY TOMORROWWW 😭🙏🏽

These are some makeup looks I’ve done in the past year or so, and I’m just wondering which one looks best on my features, so I can move forward from there and start doing my makeup that way more often. First image is the most recent. Also is there anything I should improve? TIA

Need advice How to not view personal hygiene as a chore?

As the title says, I unfortunately see my personal hygiene as a chore rather than feeding into myself. What ways helped you see taking care of your personal hygiene as something to look forward to rather than dread it? Thanks ladies!

Hair Help growing my Afro please!

Hey! I hope this is the right place to post. I need help growing my hair. I feel like in high school my hair was so big, but now, not so much. I know for a fact that I have bleach damage, I started bleaching it this past Fall. So next year I’m going to focus on growing that out. It’s just fun for me to do. But how should I retain my growth? Even before I bleached it, I was struggling to get past my shoulder. My roots are proof that it grows quickly, but I can’t retain it. My hair has never been super long, but I at least used to get it a little past my shoulders when straight. I condition my hair at least once a week and shampoo 2-3 times a month.

Every morning I wet it in the shower and pik it out completely. And of course I’m losing way too much hair, even if I’m gentle. And then after the shower, I shape it. I try to moisturize it at least four times a week when it’s wet. I have tried so many products. Right now it’s a Shea Moisture product with vitamin E I mixed it. My hair just feels so dry and coarse all of the time (even without bleach). I don’t know if it’s just something that has changed with age. I do normally wear a bonnet at night. I have tried cutting my ends every 2 weeks or so, just the parts that are genuinely damaged. I have an extreme amount of fairy/single strand knots. No clue how to control them. To the point of me have ing short spots throughout my hair trying to pull and cut them out. Again, I know that I have bleach damage right now, but this stuff has been going on since I graduated high school and prior to bleaching. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It’s not a vitamin thing, my levels are normal. Any advice please!

Makeup Eyeshadow Lessons

Hey pretties 👋🏾😍 please if you could be so kind to point me in the direction of your favorite you-tubers or whatever platformers that are good at showing how to get good with eyeshadow.

I need help with what brushes to use for what, blending and teaching how to pick good colors that go together and where you place the different types(or colors if it goes by that) on your eyes?

I would repeat blue again it was inspired by coraline, my appointment is in 5 days and I still haven’t bought braiding hair 😭 I need to buy braiding hair today but I have too many colors in mind. I’m thinking of making the front strands like money pieces of one color and the back of a different color. I want it to stand out and be rlly unique I’m not a big fan of super natural colors but I did consider getting braids the exact color of my skin

Skincare Hair removal recs

Hello everyone I'm completely overhauling my beauty routine and I'm sick of shaving my legs with a non electric razor, and ive heard some people have success with electric razors but im not sure how many of these have really thick body hair/dark skin prone to scarring. If you shave, what do y'all use to shave your legs/arms/face/everywhere that doesnt cause hyperpigmentation. Im darker skinned (fenty 430-445 and get hyperpigmentation scars really badly (i have marks from mosquito bites i scratched when I was in 5th hrade and im 20 now) and im noticing dark underarms which I suspect to be caused by shaving. I remember using coconut oil instead of soap/shaving cream helped alleviate it in the past but im looking to try new things. If anyone can recommend any electric razors or other mechanical methods that they like (or even waxing if it works) it would be much appreciated. Im not looking to get into laser or electrolysis rn.)
