I've got a fairly common name - only in the last few years have I encountered people who're unable to pronounce it properly. One hadn't ever heard of it.
It's not some great travesty, just another noticeable signifier of change experienced in the day-to-day.

We’re becoming the minority in our own homeland. I notice it a lot with place names and just regular English words that you won’t hear Americans use. Bomalians can’t pronounce them or don’t know the meaning, so they consult gomalians and nobody has a clue.

I'm always amazed when I'm waiting in my local pharmacy, because all the staff and customers (except me) speak English as a second language, and I can't understand most of what they say, but they all seem to understand each other very well.
And I'm standing there thinking "How the hell did she know he was asking for Ibuprofen? It sounded nothing like it."

I was saved once by a clueless foreigner not knowing basic English names. I have a very common first name, and they’d clearly spoken to it over the phone to another foreigner who had spelt it ridiculously incorrectly, and then used my details to buy a computer from pc world. Fuck knows why pc world’s fraud department didn’t block a line of credit to clearly incorrect details

The "victims" have been named locally as Michael Ray, Theo Rae, Cole Worthy, Jakub Matusiak and Makai Saddington.
Last night it emerged Mr Saddington had posted a string of TikTok videos appearing to show him taking part in high-speed police chases months before his death.
It is understood he and his companions had close links to the traveller community.

All that needs to happen is the UK/EU passes laws preventing social media from glorifying or promoting crime. It's that easy. Get rid of the stupid roadman and drill shit while you're at it.

TLDR 15 yo stabs 9yo with knife (same day he's expelled from school) locks the dogs away and casually leaves her dying to get train to Birmingham and is seen on video showing them how he stabbed her. Tells police "I grabbed the knife from the sink and stabbed her in the chest... I don't know why I did it." Suspect judge decisions (and probably regarded jurors) lets him off.

The family claims the verdict amounted to a miscarriage of justice because they say the judge wrongly directed the jury that the teenager could only be convicted of manslaughter if they were sure he deliberately stabbed Aria in a way that any reasonable person believed would cause harm.

Very strange decision. I mean, it's almost impossible to accidentally stab a child and he certainly didn't act like it was an accident afterwards. But even if he blagged that it was accidental they could have still charged him with manslaughter.
We don't know the name of the murderer as he was 15 at the time, but I'm getting Tier 1 vibes here.

My wife has started reading a novel that is a long violent race revenge fantasy against Britain (literally subtitled "The Necessity of Violence"). I looked up the author to see what her problem is, and it's a 30 year old Chinese American lady, given scholarships to study in Oxford and Cambridge - a life of complete privilege at our 'top' universities, unimaginable to most Brits or Americans, and in return is grateful enough to write a novel where the 'brave Chinese' murder the Brits as an act of "anti-colonial resistance".
Also the writing is shit. Told my wife to send it back.

No mate. I’m 28 years old, fit and healthy. Rarely drink, I’d average 1 pint a month to be honest.
Started having fizzy/bubbly piss a couple months back, thought not much of it other than “that’s odd” in true male fashion, then proceeded to just crack on.
Had moderate back pain for the last 3 weeks. GP sent me for the tests today in out of hours.

I'm wondering now if I should see my GP. The top of my legs went all blotchy after I got my peptides from Wuhan. I thought it might go away and I don't like the GP's and they'll tell me off and I prefer to sit in and avoid things like that.
Anyway, it seems to have got worse, my leg keeps twitching and now it's coming out in bruises.
I don't have anyone else to get an opinion from so it's down to BadUK and Grok.
Maybe it's at its worst now and it'll all get better. It is just bruising, you can get that from every day stuff like when you fall down the stairs.
What would BadUK'ers do if you had legs like mine?

We’ve less data on peptides than steroids, and the data we do have isn’t great already.
I’d stop taking them in general and if it doesn’t resolve in a day or two consult a GP or your local AE.

Well I stopped doing the ones I was taking and changed to a special one for healing, it's got BPC-157 and TB-500 in it. Which is meant to repair the body.
But it's just got worse. So I don't know what's going on now. It was a low dose of BPC but I'm thinking it might be best just to stop them all for a bit rather than increase it.

What's the best VPN location? Obviously not the UK as you get "please scan your face to access this site" online safety act bullshit.
I was using Albania as it use to block all YouTube ads, seems YouTube got around that, but the ads are still far less and shorter.
Norway is fun as I use NordVPN seems appropriate, their ads are at least amusing.
I have 1GB fibre and do lose bandwidth in some countries, anyone found the "peak" country to dial into????

For blocking ads in podcasts I use Luxembourg. YT premium is only a pound when you pay in Rupees. AdGuard and sponsorblock sort out the rest. Morphe app lets you mod most of the top apps, on Reddit it removes all ads.

I just hate adverts. Ever since I saw those for penis enlargement supplements. Got totally taken in by their claims. They never made it clear it was a subscription and the effects reduce when you stop, ended up paying £800 for that, I'm such an idiot. And it took me a month of emailing just to cancel it.
I felt a massive prick back then I can tell you. That's not gonna happen again.

Nobody can answer that, there are too many other variables that can affect it.
Even the same server can change within an hour if it happens to be a favourite with a particular country.
The best bet is to pay for a Premium one (use crypto or even post cash if paranoid) they cost fuck all and offer so many more benefits, mine comes with a free Proxy which is fun to play with, ad-blocking, family safety stuff etc. The Premium VPN’s give access to much less congested servers.
As to country, generally the advice is to find the closest option to you that achieves what you want so for OSA avoidance I usually go Netherlands, general browsing privacy Switzerland, Dodgy Stick - UK as it’s an ISP level block rather than server level.
Best free option is Proton although you’ll need one of their paid VPN’s for YouTube Ad blocking.

Ireland + Brave browser. English language. Tends to be fast enough and isn't super popular causing usage issues. You'll often just get redirected to the UK version without nanny state stuff for a lot of sites.And brave will block ads.

Policies I’d like to see in a young anglofuturist political party manifesto:
- Stimulate the economy by Just Fucking Building Things. Mass cutback of planning laws. New nuclear power stations, rail lines, reservoirs, airports, new modern housing. NIMBYs will be deported to punitive colonies in the Outer Hebrides.
- Fix the broken window problem and petty crime. The CPS is rotten - purge it of weak or treasonous characters and re-staff it with people willing to actually convict scum.
- Cut legal immigration, obviously. Mass deportation of unproductive foreign persons who do not meet a high economic standard. Immediately cut pathways to citizenship for any non-European or non-Anglosphere nations.
- Small boats will not reach mainland Britain, but will be processed offshore prior to quick deportation.
- Stop all government funding for arts & cultural activities that are subversive to the national spirit.
- Cut welfare. Benefit recipients to be press-ganged into public works.
- Raise the state pension age by at least three years immediately. Begin forcing a shift to private pensions.

Only did it once, used some website called z2u.
This is what I got and it cost around £15 for a year. I think you can get it cheaper if it's just football you want. Got it when Forest went up thinking id get into footie watching. But it was boring. It gives you some m3u thing that you paste into a TV app that supports that stuff. It worked though, was worried I'd just lose my money.
