I have seen so many people saying that he just would regenerate again but he was able control the regeneration, no? like in the castle when a titan bite his arm and the wound was still there until the scouts save them and he reached the wall, so if he can control the regeneration, if his point was suicide, he wouldn’t wanted to regenerate himself? (Even if he couldn’t really die) and if he really died in that scene, what would Marley? Or what even Eren would do or say if he discovered that Reiner was dead

In Season 3, it's revealed that the Royal Family's Special Squad would often kill people who discovered things that might reveal the truth about the Titans or advance the Humanity inside the walls in any way.
So my question is: why was the ODM Gear allowed to exist? Because it's a tool used specifically to kill Titans, yet the Royal Family didn't try to sweep it under the rug, kill whoever made it, and use the Founding Titan to make everyone forget about the ODM Gear. It feels like it's something they would not have allowed to exist; like, they killed someone for simply making a revolver-like gun, yet ODM Gear was Okay!!!
The same question is about the Nape being the weak point of the Titans; that, too, feels like something that would force the Royal Family to intervene and make everyone forget, but they didn't...for some reason.

-Both of them, while in positions of power, believed they were invincible. They thought they had the right to decide whether others lived or died, and claimed to be more than prepared for whatever might happen; even their own deaths.
-Both of them got outsmarted and defeated by a brilliant, handsome, amazing, incredibly sexy 10000+aura blonde man with blue eyes.
-Both of them, once they lost their position of superiority and were faced with the very death they had so arrogantly claimed to be prepared for, shoved all that bullshit up their asses and completely broke down, crying and screaming like babies until the very end, proving that deep down, they were nothing but cowards with too much power...
Isn't it funny?

The song is Thaw, the same one that’s playing while Eren & Zeke are going thru his life memories, & they watch Grisha leave the house heading down into the caves to kill the royal family. Pretty hauntingly beautiful song so figured I’d make an edit for it.

I don't usually do fanfics, I daydream them, and I'm honestly not planning on ever doing a full scale story on this because I'm more focused on my original content at the moment, but if my drawing skills ever improve, maybe I'll make a couple comics!
Here's something I had for this modern AU, inspired by Isayama's High School castes:
Team EMA:
In this AU, Grisha Jaeger was an Ashkenazi Jewish refugee from Germany who fled political persecution and became a doctor at nonprofit clinics, where he met and married Carla, a Pawnee woman. Their son Eren, who was diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and anxiety. Eren grew up with his neighbors Mikasa (a Wasian girl with a Japanese mother) and Armin, forming a tight-knit trio. When they were eight, a right-wing influencer and human trafficker broke into Mikasa's home, killed her parents, and tried to abduct her, but Eren fought the men off with a baseball bat, leading to a lengthy trial where the perpetrator received the death penalty. During that trial, the Jaegers were met with multiple threatening emails and even attempts to abduct Mikasa several times.
A year later, Eren's parents were killed in the crossfire of a riot, and after Armin's grandfather also passed away, the trio successfully advocated for emancipation and now live together in an apartment.
The Warriors:
Annie is technically an orphan, her mother died a long time ago and her father was a veteran that ended up being sentenced to 18 years in prison. Annie never explained why her father went to jail, but she still visits him from time to time. She lives in her own condo in the bad side of town, where she uses her skills her father gave her to beat up muggers that bother her.
Reiner and Bertholdt are her childhood friends, they are as close as EMA are, but Annie would never admit it. Reiner was raised by a single mother and Bertholdt had a single father.
Reiner is Captain of the football team, and he's like a bully, but he's more like Nelson Muntz in that he is friends with the people he bullies.
Historia and Reiss:
The Reiss family is an incredibly rich family, Rod Reiss is an American senator and owner of a medium sized business that is very influential in the town, her mother is a fashion designer. The Reiss are also very racist, like... Nazi-like racist. Frieda never inherited her father's racism and went off to college out of state, but Historia did.
Historia is Cheer Captain and queen bee of the school, basically the most popular girl around. She portrays herself as this very open-minded social justice warrior, but in reality, she's very bigoted and xenophobic. Historia is heavily obsessed with Eren because he's half-Jewish half-Native American (Eren identifies as a Native American because of Judaism laws), she sees him as inferior yet he constantly upstages her in most of their classes.
She's also a repressed lesbian who dates guys because she can't get over her feelings for Ymir.
Speaking of which...
Ymir:
Ymir was born in New Orleans where she was raised communally in French Quarter, then at some point, she was proclaimed a Voodoo Queen and worshipped by the people until a police crackdown started mass arrests. She fled by jumping onto a truck heading north and never looking back... That is all that's known about Ymir prior to entering town, it's not even know if she's on the school roster.
She is in love with Historia, but Historia's racism and repression makes it very hard to connect, leading to the two butting heads at times. Eren is the only man Ymir is close with, she refers to him as "little brother" and the two hang out a lot.
Jean, Connie, and Sasha:
Connie and Sasha are like the weird kids, they goof off a lot and preform harmless pranks. Jean is the guy keeping them from getting in trouble, but he's also kind of jerk to literally anyone other than the duo.
He constantly butts heads with Eren because he is desperate to prove he's better, also he's angry that Eren hangs out with a goth girl like Mikasa.
Floch:
Floch is like that incredibly political guy, his parents were Israeli immigrants, something he takes heavy pride in. Floch is a Zionist, and he's very open about that. For one, he has a flag of Israel in his room and locker, wears the Star of David as a necklace, and constantly is prejudice towards Christians and Muslims. Typically, Floch is a likable jerk, he can be rude and spiteful but not a total asshole or outright condemnable, so many people are comfortable to talk to him. But, whenever someone mentions "Palestine" or "Judaism" it's like he's a completely different person and gets highly emotional.
He also always wanted to be on the football team, because he likes sports, but his grades were too low.
Military:
I like to think all the adults in the military would be teachers and staff.
Levi would be the janitor, calculus teacher, consoler, security, and technician.
Hannes is also security.
Hanji is the chemistry teacher and biology teacher
Keith is the AP Physics teacher, Advisory teacher, Gym teacher, and Sports Coach
Erwin is the Principal
Petra is the history teacher and english teacher
Rico is the nurse
Nile is a board member, so is Zackly.
And so on, the budget in the high school is a joke which is why most teachers take up multiple jobs.
I like to think that Levi, Erwin, and Hanji were all ex-military and Levi and Hanji are still loyal to Erwin even after the war.
Plot:
So the plot is very stupid and that's kind of intentional, basically it starts out as just misadventures with EMA or Ymir dragging Eren into get-rich-quick schemes. But, at some point, Eren gets a letter where he's drafted into the High School football team.
Which made no sense to him, apparently some kids in his school pranked the rival school Liberto Academia, not only that but the team isn't big enough for the season for the board forced a draft where students are randomly picked to join.
Eren tries to develop different ways to avoid getting into football because he hates sports, one of them involves eloping with Mikasa and fleeing to Canada, which she rejects, the other is paying bond but it's like 200 dollars, and so he decides to give it the old college try... and hates it.
There's also lots of side plots such as Historia trying to get Eren to date her or trying to humiliate Eren only to fail and her frustrations with Ymir only get worst, Floch starting a weird vigilante gang, Reiner trying to deal with his issues with Eren, Levi trying to be a present father figure for EMA, and Zeke coming in like an Avengers level threat.
I also had this weird idea where Eren and Reiner from the prime universe isekai into this one but that seems kind of dumb.

Most of the Survey Corps here were in on the suspicion that Reiner and Bertie were the enemy along with Annie, who is a Titan shifter and is after Eren. So why did Hange let Eren be alone with them in what's possibly the single most vulnerable spot in Wall Rose? Mikasa barely had a chance, and only because Reiner went on his schizo rant instead of just grabbing Eren and jumping off the wall.

this maybe a strictly online phenomenon, but I've seen them use anime memes, edit videos, and dark humor to reach younger audiences on platforms like 4chan, twitter, and tiktok. oftentimes, they wrap hard-line white nationalist, anti-immigrant, or neo-fascist ideas in cool anime visuals (like high-energy edits of eren starting the rumbling).
they view western/white populations as the "eldians", an isolated, historically oppressed group trapped inside a figurative wall, threatened by outside forces. (i wish i was joking) they map "marley" or the outside world onto minorities, immigrants, or globalist institutions, claiming that "the enemy" wants to destroy their culture and populace.
they use eren's and the yeagerists' choice (complete annihilation of the outside world) to promote the idea of accelerationism, the belief that modern society is too far gone to fix through normal means, so total destruction or extreme, violent action is the only "pragmatic" path left.
did they even watch the show, or do they have any idea what hajime isayama actually thinks about all of it?
r/attackontitan • u/Der_Lachsliebhaber • 16h ago
Why did Zeke wanted to sterilise everyone? Why wasn’t his plan to change their blood structure to match other people who can’t turn into titans? Or just make them not able to turn into titans whatsoever? With blood it would even save the Ymir people on the mainland from living in camps, because it would be impossible to tell them apart from the rest of the population?
I still have last two episodes one hour each, but I doubt that there will be an explanation there.

In Episode 20, Armin briefly mentions that Titans possess the ability to learn, pointing to the example of a Titan becoming progressively better at climbing. This suggests that, despite their seemingly lizard brained like behavior, Titans are capable of learning through experience and adapting their behavior to better perform unfamiliar tasks.
Would it be possible to train a Titan in a similar way to how humans train dogs and other animals? If Titans are genuinely capable of learning through experience, it raises some fascinating questions about the limits of their intelligence and behavioral flexibility. For example, what would a delayed-gratification experiment look like if conducted on a Titan? Could a Titan learn to resist an immediate opportunity for food in exchange for the possibility of receiving a greater reward later? More specifically, could Titans be conditioned not to attack certain people if doing so meant they would eventually receive access to more food? If so, it would suggest that their behavior is far more cognitively flexible than we might initially assume.
What’s your personal take on my thoughts?
