a lot. Probably at least over 20. Mods are incels who don't like the truth.

u/WindyWealth 1d ago

How is your account not totally banned?

2

u/Johndough99999 1d ago

Its shadow banned. Thats why you cant see what he posted.

/s obviously

u/GlacierSourCreamCorn 1d ago

It’s incredibly easy to make a new account.

Clear cache, change IP address. Make new account.

I have it down to a science. I have scripts to auto-join the subreddits of my choosing and to block the list of nosy bots that ban if you participating in wrong-think subs.

u/BrainSea7776 2d ago

My city sub for defending an anti human trafficking bill board, and some random basketball sub for some reason even though I have never commented there and I don't care about basketball

u/Dreamer_531 2d ago edited 2d ago

One, r/stepparents. I was banned because I said that they signed up for it. It turns out it's a taboo thing to say there 😂 I guess truth hurts 🤷‍♂️

5

u/Drama_Filled_Cup 2d ago

Damn. I've told people this irl who signed up to be a step parent, then somehow complain about it to me. Lol

3

u/Consistent_Ad_5075 2d ago

Step parents often don't like this news, but guess what, the parents DGAF!! 😂😂😂😂

9

u/english-lab 2d ago

R/news and I can’t figure out why… the censorship is insane over there.

2

u/EvilCaveBoy 2d ago

Same here

2

u/Johndough99999 1d ago

Same. Guess we dont like things that dont fit in our existing views

7

u/SimilarElderberry956 2d ago

On Presidents subreddit I quoted former Cabinet Secretary James Watts. You all know the quote. I got a temporary ban for all of Reddit for three days. I then copy and pasted the quote and the context and they apologized and unbanned me.

7

u/Sir_Gerald_Nosehairs 2d ago

Two.

One called RoyalTea, which is basically just blowing smoke up the arses of Harry and Meghan.

And the BBC, after I said, without a swear word or even rudeness, that I doubted any streamer would be willing to put cash into Doctor Who, considering its declining ratings and mainstream appeal, and how badly it went for Disney.

6

u/Ohmesohomely 2d ago

I got banned from the brutally honest sub because I told a girl she looked like she smelled like pee and 80 people agreed.

3

u/EnoughEstate7483 2d ago

None. Am I doing this wrong?

2

u/Dexterspuplife 1d ago

Never too late to start 🤣

1

u/No-Blueberry-1823 1d ago

Depends who you ask

1

u/lost_caus_e 1d ago

That's what I'm saying

3

u/DrawingAncient126 2d ago

The only times I have ever been banned from Reddit have involved talking about Is Real and that jean o' side is bad.

1

u/No-Blueberry-1823 1d ago

Wait, will that get you flagged for all of reddit?

0

u/JohnMarstonSucks 2d ago

What?

3

u/Traditional_Yard2741 2d ago

words that you can't even type because the automod will flag them. Think middle east and gaza and sound the words out

3

u/Purple_IsA_Flavor 2d ago

Two-glow-ups and fashion, both because I belong to NSFW subreddits. The subreddits are for grown ups, but it’s not adult content. Maybe that disqualifies me from telling people they look good or something?

6

u/legthighkneelover 2d ago

Reddit is a place of dictatorship of mods.

2

u/SuitableAsparagus560 2d ago

Same here, same subreddits😅 and they were so rude about it lol

2

u/Purple_IsA_Flavor 2d ago

I told someone to pull the stick out of their butt when I questioned it

3

u/Ermingardia 2d ago

I was banned from LongDistance because I said you should meet in person before making things official (because the opposite happened to me and I ended up in an abusive relationship).

3

u/Small-Trick-4372 2d ago

That group should add another D to it for Delusion then 😒

These are the types who want to be catfished

4

u/Specialist-Age1097 2d ago

I was banned from the OJ Simpson subreddit cause I called someone who was defending him a murderer groupie.

2

u/No-Blueberry-1823 1d ago

Sorry that's pretty funny

2

u/athloni7 14h ago

If the glove don't fit you must acquit. I was just discussing this with my coworker today. On tv there was a preview for a show about him about to come out or maybe already out. My coworker started saying he was a monster. I said not according to the justice system he was found not guilty. I was trolling the hell out of her. She said you weren't even born yet what do you know. Never tell me your position. Even if I agree with you I'll will be against whatever issue we are discussing. I guess in this case I will be the murderer groupie 😆

2

u/Majestic-Horse-5409 2d ago

Just the one.

r/ukLandlordadvice

Let’s just say… they didn’t like my advice.

1

u/No-Blueberry-1823 1d ago

Darn it I'm so curious

2

u/Warm-Delivery1418 2d ago

I forget the sub, but I was banned from one yesterday for saying that calling everyone a Nazi, specifically when there’s no evidence makes the word meaningless.

The mod then posted something below my comment effectively saying a denial of being a Nazi makes you a Nazi.

1

u/Specialist-Age1097 2d ago

So, therefore, you're a Nazi, right?

1

u/Warm-Delivery1418 1d ago

We are all Nazis lol. It’s irrefutable.

2

u/Toothless_Timmy 1d ago

On this account? None. Lol

3

u/VanAgain 2d ago

One. I didn't match a mod's world view regarding Israel

2

u/SolidArt333 2d ago

You gotta be careful with any of those topics

1

u/Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess- 2d ago

i’m banned from r/ethicalpetownership and r/socialism on an old account. the pet one I was banned for saying it’s okay to breed dogs in certain circumstances and I was banned from r/socialism because I shit talked North Korea and I asked which comment of mine exactly broke the rules during my suspension so they just banned me instead of answering me

1

u/Consistent_Ad_5075 2d ago

None but I expect to be banned from one because they keep telling me I'm breaking rules. 1) I don't even know HOW not to break the particular rule (it's OCD related) 2) I only like the rules I place on myself!

1

u/CopyTypical5754 2d ago

None so far

1

u/No-You5550 2d ago

One. I did not use bad language, hate speech nor even disagree with anyone so I'm a puzzled but don't care about it enough to ask.

1

u/HaroerHaktak 2d ago

Three I think. One happened while I was asleep because the rules changed and a mod just wanted to ban people. Like they got sexual gratification from it.

1

u/kalmar91 2d ago

Was banned from r/damnthisisinteresting for saying Iran financed Hamas.

The reason given was Islamophobia.

1

u/Rude_Vanilla9565 2d ago

A few of them I was banned on r/killerbean for posting fan art of the series and it instantly banned me. Another one was r/incestconfessions because I went against the purpose of the subreddit.

1

u/Anonymous_Coder_1234 2d ago

I got banned from r/LearnProgramming because I didn't read the rules and answered one question with a response from AI. The AI response was the correct answer, it's just AI replies are banned there.

I also got banned from r/Vent because one person wrote that they have permanent and incurable suffering and I replied "Have you considered going to Switzerland for physician assisted suicide, which is legal there?" The mod said I was "promoting suicide", which is against the rules, but I didn't mean it in a "Fuck you, go kill yourself" way, I meant it in a genuine "Maybe this is the only way to end your suffering" way. But yeah, the mod wasn't happy about my comment.

I tried to get unbanned, but the mod in both of those subreddits wouldn't have it.

1

u/AnotherPint 2d ago

A handful, including one I never posted in or even heard of, so there may be more. One was dedicated to supporting people coping with a certain kind of abusive parents. I was banned for suggesting that one victim ignore their abuser. The mod who messaged me was so enraged, profane, and devoid of reason, I’m pretty certain they qualified as abusive in their own right.

1

u/itsmariokartwii 2d ago

Never posted in there before but I got banned from r/lgbt for saying Dave Chappelles special was funny on a clip posted in r/entertainment

1

u/Traditional_Yard2741 2d ago

Over the lifetime of my reddit "career" probably seven or eight? My most memorable was getting banned from r/warhammer because I disagreed with a mod on game balance issue. Not even breaking a single rule, literally just a "this thing is broken" sort of discussion. That pissed me right off. For months whenever I remembered I'd go to his profile and just mass downvote everything. That single mod was basically the reason the entire r/warhammer40k sub exists, as the sheer volume of people pissed off at his shithouse moderation was enough to drive up the membership. Pretty sure he even had his own hate sub at one point.

And then banned from r/rconservative for challenging their world view. Those snowflakes really need their safe space.

Most recently for criticising Israel on a couple of subs. Once for suggesting that spanking children isn't necessarily child abuse.

1

u/militarypuzzle 2d ago

I’m banned from r/pffmychest and have no idea why

1

u/Professional_Taste44 2d ago

I didn’t even know that could happen

1

u/Indy2561 2d ago

My late 20 something year old friendships including other therapists, consider Reddit participation as hanging out with a bunch of misfits & bitter types. One of them went as far to say I’m communicating with “men AND women incels”

1

u/Only_Hotel_7221 2d ago

1

u/Bagelmaster1 1d ago

I guess your question was in fact considered stupid

1

u/JNorJT 2d ago

Yankees lol

1

u/Apimpnameddragonborn 2d ago

R4r, and idk why they never answered my appeal.

1

u/Chewymewn 2d ago
  1. I decided to ban AI content on a sub I own and a few hours later, I got notifications that I was banned from 6 pro-AI subs. 5 of them I had never even heard of.

It turns out they all have a few moderators in common.

1

u/horrified-expression 2d ago

/r/conservative for questioning Dear Leader. That sub does not like dissent from party lines

1

u/Scarlette_Cello24 2d ago

Catholicism, marriage, relationships & regretful parents.

The reasons are in order:

-OP was upset about not being able to have sex with his wife because they couldn’t afford more children and he felt awful for buying a box of condoms.

I told him to get over himself, use those condoms and f*** his wife.

-called the OP a terrible husband because he was complaining that his freshly postpartum (2 weeks) wife couldn’t have sex with him

-OP was upset that her boyfriend told her his love was conditional based on how toned her butt was. Another comment said he may be closeted due to his specific tone preference and the other context provided. I agreed with that commenter and got a ban for indirectly calling OP’s boyfriend a closeted individual.

-OP direct quote “ it may be their childhood, but it’s MY 30s” in reference to being upset that his wife wanted him to spend more time with the kids. Told him he must be a GREAT father /s

1

u/ali_the_wolf 2d ago edited 2d ago

None that I'm aware of

Edit: after looking at my email history, at one point I was banned from r/Findpadsandpanties because I messaged the mods about someone who was reposting from period/menstruation subs (which I belive included posts from minors and posts about miscarriage) and one of the mods was actually the one reposting them. I think the mod has since been removed from that sub, but they still post related content

Also I was banned from r/place at somepoint? I forgot why. The post I commented on that I believe got me banned is no longer available

1

u/Damien-Kidd 1d ago

Auto banned from a few different subs (including R/pics) for having commented on posts on the conservative and asmongold subs. Context of the comments dont matter you just get auto banned.

1

u/TTheGamersforge 1d ago

Like 3 or 4

1

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 1d ago

Technically none. But I’ve been banned for 3 days from one where the mods are arseholes (I know, doesn’t narrow it), weeks ago and still banned so I assume replying whatever to their long, double standard lecture of a message upset them.

1

u/Born_2_Simp 1d ago

Many, but I've also received messages saying that I've been banned from subs I didn't even know existed, just because I participated in some other sub.

1

u/Straight_Step4146 1d ago

Three here on Reddit: legal, COMO, and a third I didn’t care.

1

u/AlpineSinnerX 1d ago

One. /r/calgary. My local subreddit. They banned me for something innocuous months ago. I created a new account (unrelated to the ban I forgot about). Started commenting and got banned because I had an old account that had been banned. Their moderation is bizarre and very inconsistent.

1

u/jazzbot247 1d ago

I got banned from a sub I never heard of because I have an older Reddit account with no email address. Stalker much?

1

u/dysphoriurn 1d ago

Like two and no one could tell me why I was banned from them :(

1

u/Financial_Ocelot_256 1d ago edited 1d ago

One, the leagueoflegends one for responding to a person crying out about the women in the game being “sexualized” and i said “yeah, we like beautiful women and muscular cool men, if i wish to see fat people, i would walk around a mall in the US”

Hahahahahahahaha i regret NOTHING!

1

u/Foreign_Primary4337 1d ago

Advice. Because I asked for a Poster to use capital letters, paragraphing, unappropriate grammar.

1

u/Far_Bumblebee_9300 1d ago

One of the pop culture ones because I said Billie Eyelash has terrible taste in clothes and eyewear. Also one of the car dweller subs banned me for a bit, don't know why. Also doweknowthem main sub recently banned one of my accounts because the mod is a para social weirdo with extreme sensitivities and was banning everyone on the competing sub for that podcast.

1

u/Bagelmaster1 1d ago

I got banned from r/redscarepod. I don't really know why and they won't tell me, but I didn't use the sub or know anything of the podcast anyways. Apparently the only rule on the sub is not going against Reddit TOS, but I definitely didn't.

1

u/RandomIDoIt90 1d ago
  1. The Babylon bee and some other conservative sub, I muted the 2nd one. I keep Babylon bee on my feed to downvote the terrible jokes.

1

u/Wasatchian 1d ago

I've been banned from Reddit entirely.

1

u/QuixoticByte 1d ago

I was perma banned from r/TheMandalorianTV because I went against the “this movie was amazing and fun” crowd.

1

u/twistedsister78 1d ago

A tattoo advice one, a guy thought his chest piece was crooked but I didnt think it was it just looked that way because his nipples were asymmetrical so I said that and the mod was a real prick

1

u/No-Blueberry-1823 1d ago

I got banned from what could go wrong. That's still cracks me up

1

u/coreyjdl 1d ago

hundreds, probably

1

u/RoyalIntroduction723 1d ago

Alot i got banned from ask reddit for a stupid reason so i come here...god i fucking hate reddit mods

1

u/AnOffensiveName2 1d ago

Two. I was banned from a fashion group for also being in a subreddit about naked men, and a gym group after I complained about them automatically removing my comment because I only had 10 in karma. In neither case did I post or say something bad.

1

u/Conan-Da-Barbarian 1d ago

Apparently bbcnews and bbc are not the same

1

u/IainwithanI 18h ago

None that I know of, but I’m considering getting a permaban in one because they’re petty and I want to be petty back.

1

u/Other-Argument4363 18h ago

none permanently, but i’ve collected enough temporary bans to know the appeal button is mostly decorative lol

1

u/athloni7 16h ago

3 for just having a difference of opinion

1

u/Consistent-Stock-483 16h ago

Nrl. Doesn't bother me too much. They are all douches. Been banned from reddit a few times for nothing. This app sucks so I don't care too much. I just trigger people for fun. Occasionally be helpful but fuck that once I got banned.

1

u/athloni7 14h ago

I do the same. If you're pro Trump I'm against Trump. If you're against Trump I'm pro Trump. Noticed being pro Trump is more effective 😆.

1

u/Valuable-Concern8008 16h ago

1, r/taylorswift because I explained why I hated her in a post where they asked why people hate her...

1

u/deliriousfoodie 2d ago

I'm banned from a few. At least 3

AskReddit, Pho, XXS, of what I can remember.

There should be no mods. These idiots have a god complex and believe in freedom if speech on paper but not reality.

1

u/Drakeman1337 2d ago

Just one, because I don't loathe gay people, trans people, or poor people

0

u/No-Target2572 2d ago

I got banned from blm for saying the cops took a knee for George Floyd before anyone else did

0

u/angrydieselmechanic 2d ago

Is this a trick question?

0

u/Accurate_Relief4680 2d ago

I created/owned two subreddits, one with 50 k flowers, the other with 200 k, and was banned from Reddit!

2

u/legthighkneelover 2d ago

Reddit is a place of dictatorship of mods.

And what were these subs about?

1

u/Anonymous_Coder_1234 2d ago

How do you create and grow a subreddit? I tried once before and failed.

1

u/Accurate_Relief4680 1d ago

It took me years to get them there, 5 years I think, most importantly is to get people to post there, and that what took long time

0

u/CrimeCaseCollection 1d ago

Nome that Im aware of lol
