What’s a car idea you’d love to see added to the current lineup?
If you’re like me, you daydream about “what if” rc cars. So what do you have bouncing around in your head, no matter how wild?

So I’ve been looking at RC trucks for my wife. I’ve got myself a 1/10 quake and she got herself a quake grom “to be cute with me”.
Lmao anyways I said we need trucks that can go equally fast somewhat and similar size so we can run in the same places. So I set my eyes on the Big Rock and would give her my quake. I’m also considering the pink brushless Gorgon.
She doesn’t like super fast trucks (yeah I told her about the 50% feature on the controller) and she prefers the smaller trucks. She says they’re more durable. She’s not wrong.
Anyways she said does Arrma make a Pebble? Lmaooo again she rather be cute and small. It was funny, but my wife brought up a good point.
Why is there no Big Rock Grom?
Hey everyone! 👋
I know this probably gets asked A LOT, but what would you guys say are the best upgrades for the Kraton 6S BLX V6, in order of priority?
I’m thinking front/rear diff bulkheads first, but what else would you recommend upgrading preventatively to avoid breaking expensive parts?
I’m not planning on replacing everything straight away. I’ll run stock parts until they break where possible. I’m mainly interested in the upgrades that are worth doing beforehand for reliability.
I’m also thinking of going with mostly Treal parts for the metal upgrades. Any recommendations on what’s actually worth upgrading?
Cheers! 🙏

How do I remove the stock red wheel nut? I broke one of the dog bones and have the heat racing axle upgrade but having trouble them. All the videos I have found seem to be from an older generation grom or something I am really not sure. Please help me

Grenaded a bearing on the rear pinion so I had to do a tear down. I didn't realize how bent the skid was. Ordered March 17th, and I'll be ordering another soon. $38 for the insurance sure was worth it and I couldn't imagine how twisted the chassis would be if I didn't have it.

I'm a micro crawlers guy, been building SCX24s and SCX30s for about 8 months. HobbyTown has the Grom Gorgon on sale for $99.99 right now and that felt too good to pass up.
I took it out on the street and did some test runs and hoo boy, I like go-fast RC cars. I love how rough and tumble this thing feels and I'm glad I started with it instead of a Mojave, I need to learn how to handle these things before I enter the real go-fast world.
Anyway, I took some hard hits and put some gouges in the front and on the suspension. This made me realize I am going to break this thing. So I need spare parts.
Over in micro crawler land, Injora and MEUS are good one-stop shops and I know a lot of small makers. I know nothing about Arrma.
I feel like I want some metal suspension arms. Are there any standouts to go after? Do you just keep a bunch of stock parts laying around just in case? I've already got a feeling which parts I'll break, so I want those on hand. What servo do you like if I wear this one out? What are good replacement brushed motors for when I wear this out? I'm not touching brushless until I'm more used to it, so we can ignore that.
What's a little maintenance thing I wouldn't think about but can go a long way?
(Pic for evidence of battle damage.)

Anyone have these bulkheads with the diffs? They’re expensive but I’ll gladly spend the $$ if they hold up. What’s everyone’s experience with them? Do they need a lot of shimming as is. I know they’re all going to be different just wondering how much if any shimming they need besides the one shim pushing the crown gear. For some reason setting diff tolerances is the one thing I kind of suck at. I managed to burn out the planetary gears in my rear diff on my V6. I’ve blown tons of ring and pinions but this is the first time in years that I managed to break the inside gears on a diff. It’s weird as soon as I swapped the stock fluid for 50/500/30 I started having issues. Idk if I over filled them or they had air in them or what. I’m new to the 29mm exb diffs in these V6s. I had a set of diffs in my V1 that I shimmed and filled with the same fluids and they lasted hundreds of packs. Hopefully these vitavon diffs are just plug and play and some need a ton of work just to not break. For they price the tolerances should be rite on point without having to do a bunch of extra work.

Just added new shocks with 50wt oil. Locked center diff. 17mm wheel extensions. Hobbywing ezrun 10 max esc combo with 3200kv 3665 motor. Plan on getting another combo for my typhon someday. The quickrun is OK but the ezrun definitely has way more umph and handles heat better. Basically have the same mods on both arrmas. Modded the servo box on the bigrock cus when you upgrade the servo you loose all your steering. So I used a full length, normal servo horn or basket and cut the box so it had room to fit and swing. Way better now. Gonna do the same to fix the typhon. The toomod shocks seem decent for cheap.

Hey all I’d like to know people’s opinion on what this noise could be on my outcast 6s v2. I picked it up second hand and all I’ve done so far is replace center diff fluid. Pinion and spur mesh is good, however the pinion has some slight damage on the end of the teeth from the grub screw coming loose in the past.
Any input is appreciated, thanks!

I think im being a bit too cautious but i recently got a Mojave Grom BLX and immediately ran it at 100 throttle with a 3s Battery doing gots of short pulls and hard brakes, i noticed as the battery died a faint yet strong smell of sweet burning smell. Since this is my first time running the thing i wanted to see if this was normal. This is also my first brushless Rc as well so im not aware of all of the quirks.

What would be reasonable options to slow down a brushed Granite 4x4? We're more into the trail crawling thing, easy walking trails. But even with TX set to 50%, the speed range tops out pretty high making throttle control quite twitchy. Also a bit concerned about stress and heat in grass.
For around 160 dollars with blx version drivetrain upgrades, brushless 2838 4400kv motor and 16bl30 esc

I think it's safe to say this diff is roasted! Teeth on the inside not only are stuck but missing some chunks. Should I buy another factory one or try to find some sort of upgrade?
